The classic French country architecture of this new home (finished 2010) understates the "Wow" everyone exclaims upon entry. 2 story ceilings in the expansive foyer and great room open up to arched passages to the sunroom, kitchen, master bedroom and dining room. These arches continue at the top of the stairway for the overlook passage to the 2nd level.

Great room features floor to ceiling corner stone fireplace that adds to the southwest decor. Ambient lightning from 6 wall sconces add to the homey feeling in this room with over 18' ceiling height.

The kitchen has Jenn Air double oven with convection cooking, 6 burner gas down draft, built in microwave, new 26 cubic ft refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. All appliances are stainless steel and countertops are granite.

For those who dream bigger, this is a massive kitchen. Let's talk 24' open span construction with no unsightly floor to ceiling beams or columns! The kitchen is one-of-a-kind and affords room for several cooks at one time.

The island features a 6 burner natural gas Jenn-Air downdraft, built in microwave and electrical outlets for small appliances. There is comfortable seating for 8 people to eat and be entertained while watching the chef serve. And that is not half of it!

Much thought was put into the kitchen design to enable the cook(s) and family to enjoy each other while breathing in the awesome views of the river, bay and Mississippi Sound. There is seating for 6 either at the large round table in the corner or at the separate formal dining room.

There is another table in the kitchen that will seat 4 or can be used for serving appetizers and side dishes..., or guest can enjoy the large wrought iron patio set for outdoor dining. So with the furniture and distinctive dark maple mitred cabinets and center island, our kitchen is designed for family and fun!

The kitchen is 24' x 24' and can easily accommodate our guests and chefs. Plus the outdoor gas grill on the 12' x 24' terrace, which is mere steps away, provides additional options for your party.
This space is open by intention to allow for sun bathing and for the morning sun to stream in the kitchen and sun room. ( During winter months the sunlight is reflected off the water and playfully dances on the ceilings ). In the afternoon and evening hours this space is nice and shaded. The gulf breeze is unrestricted here and adds to the peaceful setting with the backdrop of water, mossy oaks, hoot owls, pelicans and migratory birds. Lots of potted plants and flowers here.

During evening hours the amber lights of the far distant 6 lane highway 90 bounce off the water. The lights of the Port of Pascagoula are reflected off low lying clouds coming in off the Gulf. Add in the night time lights of the Port City to the east of us and your group will have memories for a lifetime! And if you book on a full moon, you can see the moon coming up on the horizon and dancing beams on the water.

Separate master suite is down stairs with 11ft ceilings. French doors open to the spa bath with his and her vanities, large corner whirlpool and 6ft shower with built-in seat.

The special features continue upstairs with 2 full baths to serve the 3 bedrooms and oversized bonus room ( or game room / man cave or kids play room). Views from the rooms upstairs are even more expansive.

No strings on us. We take great care with all our linens and towels. We carefully inspect each and if there are blemishes due to misuse they are retired from use. We believe that whites are meant to be white without bleach. We provide extra bath, linen and face towels and extra sheets. Also important is knowing there are ( 3 ) Trane HVAC units and ( 4 ) high recovery 50 gallon hot water tanks zoned for each area of the house.

This home is conveniently located to US Hwy 90 and therefore due to the ease of access to points west we are only some 20 to 25 minutes to Biloxi beach resorts and casinos. There is year round fishing here with charter boats! There are several local pubs, restaurants and food stores close by. And being only 1 block away to the 6 lane lighted hwy not only adds to convenience but also safety in getting to see the entire gulf coast.

Salty Water Outlook is 100 miles to New Orleans or to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. 20 min to Biloxi Resorts, restaurants and Casinos, 15 minutes to Oceans Springs and walking distance to local pubs and seafood restaurants.

Beautiful Home & Very Relaxing

We came here for a bowling tournament located 7 minutes from this house in which there were 9 adults. It was so spacious & comfortable that we never felt like we were crowded. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood & offered some seclusion. I was most impressed with the fact the house had everything to meet our needs plus extras. Everyone said the beds were so comfortable & kept talking about how much of a relaxing trip it was. There were great places to eat & the casinos were only a 25 min drive away. It was truly great meeting the owner (Mr. Duncan) who provided an excellent tour of the property & followed up with me during our stay. Again, THANK YOU Mr. Duncan for sharing your home with us & we look forward to our next visit.

Great Christmas gathering spot

We had a great time as family from 3 states gathered here for a central Christmas location. The home was really nice and we especially loved the kitchen. Great for cooking as well as socializing. Loved the large round table. We ate our meals there as well as played several card games. The owner was very gracious to decorate the inside with a tree and other holiday decorations and festive lights on the outside. Overall we had a wonderful time in this lovely home.

Outstanding Vacation

The owners of this property are very informative about the home and the area. They could not have made things any easier for us. The home is lovely and well layed out and was a great place for family and friends. The views are wonderful and the water is entertaining, watching the birds and fish jumping. Everyone loved the back deck. The kitchen is a dream and was made good use of. Sleeping accommodations are comfortable with plenty of space.Would recommend this home to family and friends. Thanks for an awesome time and a great stay.

Our family stayed in this clean, spacious, and comfortable home for a week. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook, socialize, and eat. All the rooms and bedrooms are spacious. There's a nice yard in front of the house and at the side of the house with room for the kids to play. We also enjoyed the outdoor deck that has a nice view of the water. We enjoyed staying in this very clean and comfortable home. The owner is friendly and helpful. He offered great suggestions for finding excellent seafood nearby too. We hope to rent the house again for our next family reunion.

Awesome Vacation Home

This home had everything we could possibly ask for. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and getting a personal tour and history of the home. He was extremely gracious and made us feel most welcome. The home was very spacious and accommodating for 6 adults and a teenager. We were traveling with a family group staying at the Beau Rivage. We had everyone over for dinner one night, and they all wanted to know how we got to stay in this home, while they were stuck at the Beau. We would definitely recommend this home and look forward to our next stay.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME (Full stocked)

Upon arrival we had the pleasure of meeting the owner & getting a personal tour & hearing about how he was blessed with this home. This was a last minute find & I am grateful to have come across this hidden treasure in a quiet neighborhood. Not to mention it was full stocked with all your daily needs the best of the best. Excellent Gulf Coast Stay

wonderful gulf shore stay

My family and I had a wonderful time at this vacation house! It slept 10 comfortably and had all of the great amenities of home. Thid was a last minute booking because our other place fell through. When we arrived the house was spotless and we were very pleased by the hospitality of the owner and realty company. We couldn't ask for a better stay. We plan on returning next year.

Family Vacation

Wonderful home! We had 8 adults and 1 child and pets and there was so much room that we were never crowded. Good location, easy to get to. Home was beautiful with ALL the comforts of being at home. Enjoyed this so much everyone wanted to stay! Absolutely will look at this place first next time we go to the coast. This was a last minute find due to booking issue with someone else. So glad we found this and Tanya!

Why they chose this property

I purchased the property because the inland site has wonderful views of the West Pascagoula River ( Singing River ) and the MS Sound with no houses blocking the breeze or the view. Because of the unrestricted view we have the same gulf breeze as the beach front property with the bonus of ease of access to US Hwy 90 and local shopping! Salty Water Outlook is framed by majestic old oaks between the home and the River. And the property is on a high elevation built on concrete foundation and brick on all sides. The solid wood frame and attention to tight fitting details with the upgraded doors and windows create a safe sound and quite space. In addition if the boys get too loud, Mother can send them to the far-a-way man cave or recreation room to keep peace in the kitchen.

What makes this property unique

US Hwy 90 is only 2 blocks away with easy access at the Oak St Traffic Signal. Therefore no problem with driving long distance on 2 lane dark roads at night as found with most waterfront. Also our property is handicapped accessible for wheel chairs as you can drive up to the front door with only 2 small risers.

We have 4 large spaces for family units to gather: great room, sun room, man cave or game room and a awesome kitchen with 15' island. In addition the terrace is great for sunbathing or casual dining. Another space people can gather is in the finished garage with its exercise equipment and comfy sofa. And there is still room to park up to 3 cars!
