About this property

No pets allowed. We are very sorry, but our family has multiple members that are allergic and also suffer from asthma. No large gatherings or events. Maximum 7 overnight guests.

This beautiful 1600 square foot, fully furnished house with two living areas to relax in is just a 2 minute walk to the covered dock in a quiet, wonderful cove. It sits back from the street nestled in the tall trees. It has a wrap around deck to enjoy the cool quiet evenings.

Our house at the lake features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs living areas, beautiful, functional kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and even has a keurig and a crock pot!

There is a king bed in the upstairs master suite with a private bath and private deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The kids' room has a single over full bunk bed.

There are two living areas, one with a large flat screen tv, the other is just off the kitchen with two cozy chairs for reading or chatting.

There are two TV's in the house and WiFi, but also a tv for DVD's only in the kids' room. We've also provided some of our favorite board games, puzzles and a few decks of cards for quality "disconnected" family time without the distraction of electronic devices.

The house sits on a secluded cove that is wide and deep and is bordered on one side by an un-populated peninsula. This cove is big enough to play in all day and we rarely feel the need to even leave it, but we're just 5-10 minute boat ride to Gainesville Marina which has a gas dock as well as Skogies on Lanier.

The single slip dock will easily accommodate up to a 24' boat.

Our home is conveniently located just minutes from shopping at Wal-mart, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, Marshall's, Ross, Publix, Academy, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Great dining is close by at Texas Road House, Cheddar's, Olive Garden, Wild Wings & Panera Bread.

This home has recently added a stacked washer/dryer. There is also a fabulous laundro-mat literally right across the street from the neighborhood. It is very clean and nice. You can wash multiple loads at once and be out the door in about an hour!

No off-road (ATV, dirt-bike type vehicles) allowed anywhere on our property or the corps property.
Please do not move the grill. Someone moved it beside the kitchen window and the heat the grill put off caused the window to break.

Christmas in North Georgia

Great Family Vacation

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed relaxing on the rear deck with a view of the woods and strolling down the trail through the woods to the lakeside dock. The house is set well back from the road in a quiet neighborhood. Management of the property was excellent.

Wonderful lake house

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lake house. It exceeded our expectations. We spent most of the daytime hours playing in the water off the dock. We’d stay here again!

What a gem!

We were in the Atlanta area for a baseball tournament and really enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of space in the house and we loved the time on the dock and floating in the lake. We brought our jet skis and there was plenty of space for them on the dock. Our entire family enjoyed themselves and Deana is an amazing host! Highly recommend this property!!

Great Getaway

We had a very nice and relaxing time! The house was immaculate and comfortable and Deana was always quick to respond when I had a question. We had one little hiccup the last day when the air conditioner broke, but they have graciously agreed to reimburse us for the night. I would recommend this property friends visiting the area.

Beautiful Home

My husband and I rented this wonderful home for a few days just to get out and experience Lake Lanier. This home exceeded our expectations. It’s very well kept, clean and organized. Deana was made sure we had everything we needed. The shuttle touches made it like home.

What a fabulous experience renting from Deana. The home was perfect for our group of fishermen. Ample boat parking for 2-3 boats. The home was spacious and provided tons of room to work on tackle. It was just so comfortable. If you are coming to Gainesville to enjoy Lake Lanier, than I strongly recommend Deana’s home. You won’t be disappointed.

Comfortable and fun with easy access to the outdoors

We had a great stay! The house has all of the expected amenities and was well equipped for our party of 6 adults and one child. The paddle boards were so much fun and it was nice to easily go back and forth from the house to the lake. There was plenty of parking and the neighborly cat was extra friendly whenever we were coming and going. Although it was beautiful weather during our visit, we couldn't keep the doors open as there are no screens. I am sure we will look into staying here again the next time we are in town.

Great location, well equiped and nicely decorated

The house is conviniently located on a quiet cove, pretty close to groceries stores and restaurants. We found the house to be super clean, nicely decorated and well equiped for our weekend getaway. The boat slip is located close to the house, just a short walk through a wooded area, nice fishing spot for crappies. There's a jumping rock at the end of the cove that seems to be a popular spot and there's a 30min boat ride to the west part of the lake where you could find some sandy beaches and somoe other attractions like Margaritaville. Deana was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Amazing experience

I really had a great experience this weekend staying at this home. The owner of the home had great communication with me and even checked in with us to make sure we loved the home. I loved the coziness of it and how clean and welcoming it was when we stepped foot in it. I would definitely book it again and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an amazing home to enjoy with your family or friends. I know my three year old son as well as my 5 and 7 year old niece loved being there as they even had some board games and blocks for the kids. I’m so grateful for this experience. Thank you!

Nice weekend stay

Very nice house, well appointed. They thought of everything including necessary household starters. The kids loved the two paddle boards. Very nice option. We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet cove and nice dock. House is updated and nicely decorated. We loved the keypad door option. Air conditioning worked great. All appliances are new nice. Best VBRO Experience

What is not to love about this amazing rental? Host is AMAZING! Check in was piece of cake. Owner contacted us within 2 hours of arrival to make sure we were happy. This home is in a PERFECT location. Less than 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The dock is in a very quiet cove and we floated the afternoons away. I was even able to paddle board with no waves at all! Our family has nothing but good to say about this rental. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake home with others to enjoy! Will book this places for all future visits to Lake Lanier.

Summer Vacation

The property is just as advertised. Communication with the property owner was very easy and she was very responsive. We had 6 in our party and we were all comfortable in the house. We mainly used the dock area and were out on the lake on out Jet Ski and we even rented a deck boat and used the dock to load everyone in. There are two marinas very close by and a public boat ramp less than 1 mile away that was very convenient. Although we were vacationing on the lake, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping convenient to the property. Overall the stay was very pleasant and now I'm back at work dreaming of our next vacation.

Wonderful Lake House – Lake House Feel but Very Close Access to Shopping Conveniences

We had never done a VRBO before but Deana made the process comfortable and very enjoyable. She was very responsive to our needs or questions. When we arrived Deana met us to greet us and provide a quick orientation. The home is immaculate (and we are picky about that.) All the linens and towels were provided. It is newly renovated and has the perfect flow space for a family to enjoy a get away. The brief path to the lake is beautifully lined with trees and opens to the lake and dock. There are neighboring homes but the feel of Deana's home makes you feel like you're all alone at a lake house. It is great too that Publix (for grocery shopping), nice restaurants and movie theater are minutes away. The Free Chapel where Jentzen Franklin preaches is minutes away as well. We had such a great experience we are already booking the home with Deana for next year! We highly recommend it (to our family and friends too)!

Wonderful Week at the Lake

Our family from Indiana and Georgia just finished our week at this wonderful lake house. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. The house was amply supplied with linens, towels and beach towels. The kitchen was well supplied as well, with plenty of workspace. Most of our time was spent in the water or catching bluegills and sunfish at the dock. Our 5 year old granddaughter spent many hours pulling fish out of the lake after her Grandpa, dad or Nana put the red wigglers on the hook. The water was warm and we spent hours swimming, floating and using the paddleboards ( which can be very entertaining for those of us watching the newbies). Our week was hot and sunny- made it a perfect time. The little tree covered walk down to the dock was very pretty. Our host was responsive to any questions I had. The only disappointment……we had to leave!

After an extensive search, we purchased this lake home as a weekend getaway to enjoy all that Lake Lanier has to offer - great tubing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, fishing and just plain floating and relaxing.

Why they chose this property

This house has it all - a great location just minutes from great shopping and dining, a nice wooded lot in a small, quiet neighborhood with a short level walk to our covered dock. Most people comment on how convenient it is to everything. You will be at restaurants and shopping centers in literally 2 minutes.

What makes this property unique

We spent over a year fully renovating this home.(2014 to early 2015) New hardwoods and carpet throughout, new lighting, new bathroom fixtures and fully renovated kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless appliances.
