Tiromoana is perfect for a couple, group of friends or a family. The house comprises of 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms and is all on the one level.

Enjoy gorgeous views over Oneroa bay and out towards the islands from the deck and straight out from the open plan living, kitchen and dining area.

Conveniently located just a 10 minute walk to Longbeach or a 15 minute walk to Russell township where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions.


The large deck has plenty of space to catch the sun or enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining area.

Longbeach is a 10 minute walk away (2 minute drive) sand Russell township where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and tours is just 15 minutes walk (less than 5 minute drive).

Absolutely amazing view. Short walk to town centre of Russell. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, had everything I needed in the kitchen. And there was a Ping pong table in the garage for rainy days. We took the passenger ferry over to Paihia and then walked to the Waitangi treaty grounds (although there is a free shuttle from the ferry landing to the grounds if you prefer). All round great stay in Russell.

Stunning Views

Tiromoana was just perfect for our BOI holiday. The views are simply amazing. The house is very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for our family of 4. And so close to the beach. Loved the board games and the beach towels were awesome. Russell is a pretty special place with lovely safe beaches and so much to do on the water. Great memories made. Would totally recommend Tiromoana. Thanks for sharing this wee spot in paradise with us :)

Fabulous views, comfortable house

The house was comfortable with fantastic views to the bay. A lovely, clean house with modern amenities, a big verandah, and three comfy bedrooms. A short drive to town or a satisfying 15 minute walk, getting around is easy. If you like to listen to waves landing on shore, this is it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tiromoana despite wet weather, the gorgeous ocean view certainly made up for it ! The batch was comfy and warm, kitchen had everything we needed and was a short walk down to Long Beach and into the village. Table tennis was a highlight, became very competitive and was greatly appreciated given the weather. Thanks for letting us stay in your patch of paradise.

An outstanding experience

This was a case where reality exceeded expectations. The Bach has outstanding views, and is close enough to the beach that you can hear the waves. It is very clean and well-appointed, with plenty of great artwork. The kitchen has all the equipment you need for an extended stay. Overall, a true gem in Russell.

The property manager Kelly looked after us perfectly. The house is well located and lovely views. Generally very well equipped, we would have preferred a couple of small items (only 1 average frypan, no platter to serve nibbles, no music/radio/stereo and the second bedroom with a small double bed) otherwise we would recommend and return. Nice walk down to Long Beach or Russell itself.

Beautiful views

Check in was seamless, property clean and comfortable for 6 adults. The second queen but is on the small side and would more comfortably sleep 1 adult or 2 children. Property views out onto long Beach were breath taking! Ciews can be enjoyed inside as the lounge is surrounded by glass - just always take note that when the doors are open and not, can look deceptively like thee glass doors are open when they are not! Walk into Russell is fairly easy, 15-20 minutes. Just take note it goes down a steep zigzag track which can be hard on some knees. You will also have to walk back up the same track so be prepared! May be a slight challange for those on the not so fit side.

Tiromoana has great views over Long Beach and the Bay of Islands, looking out towards Cook's anchorage point. The house is well-equipped (we eventually found the cupboard of boardgames!) and a relatively easy walk down to Russell township. Highly recommended!

Our only comment would be that when asked to take all our rubbish with us and deposit at the local refuse centre - they are not open on a Thursday (the day we left ) so we were left carrying garbage bags, bottles etc,, until our next stop at the end of the day.

Russell just has everything you could possibly need for a great time away. There are world class restaurants right on the waterfront with a to die for view of the sunset nearly every evening. There are wonderful activities and attractions all within easy reach with historic places such as Christs church and Pompallier house right in town and out in the bay dolphin watching, sailing and islands tours leaving every day

What makes this property unique

Tiromoana is just the perfect base for a family holiday or a group of friends. The sea view from the lounge instantly draws you in and makes it very hard to leave again.
