Head out to Tahoe Donner Greenbelt Retreat with its private hot tub, grill, and fireplace. This Tahoe Donner vacation rental is pet friendly and close to historic Truckee and member-only recreation facilities.

Guests here will have access to the Trout Creek Recreation Center and Northwoods Clubhouse, both around one to two and a half miles away. These member-only facilities feature pools, basketball, tennis, horseshoes, saunas, and more. The private Donner Lake Marina (six and a half miles away) allows you to launch your boat and rent watercraft.

This home gets its name from the gorgeous green area that includes the developing Donner Lake Rim Trail, so bring your bike and sense of adventure! On the wooded grounds of the lodge you'll have a spacious deck with the hot tub and grill. Inside is the homey living room with a gas fireplace, L-shaped couch, and flatscreen TV with cable for a night in.

Fill the kitchen with excited chatter about the day's excursions that will echo among the high, vaulted wood-paneled ceilings. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the basic tools and appliances as well as a blender and espresso maker.

Among the three bedrooms and loft, you'll find the main bedroom on the main floor with access to the deck, private bathroom, an adorable log bed, and a room with two twins. The loft provides a pull-out sofa and room for provided air mattresses. You'll also have a private washer and dryer and WiFi here.

Visit the area Trout Creek and Northwoods facilities for a dip in the pool, massages, or game of tennis. The public Tahoe Donner Ski Area provides great slopes, but Northstar and Sugar Bowl are less than a 15 mile drive away, as well. And, this greenbelt area offers miles hiking, biking, and equestrian trails.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: A private dock is available at the Tahoe Donner Marina on Donner Lake. Bring your guest cards. Fee applies. Public docks are located along Donner Lake on Donner Pass Road.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
