Mountainback #53 provides a spacious and comfortable home away from home experience! It is also a very nicely decorated condo! Close to Pool, Shuttle Stop and has secured WiFi in the unit.

Max Occupancy: This 2 story unit has the ability to sleep up to 8 people!

Bed Arrangements: The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom also has a king size bed. The loft offers a bunk bed and a queen bed.

Unit Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure! Washer and dryer are also available in the unit! New carpets throughout unit and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Newly remodeled downstairs bathrooms!

Televisions and other consoles: Master bedroom has a TV. Living room has a large flatscreen TV and a VCR/DVD player.

Views: You can see a breathtaking view of the Sherwin Mountains from this condo!

Maximum 2 vehicles. One assigned underground parking space (7’ Clearance). Second space is first come first serve.

Walking distance and near by shuttle to Canyon Lodge perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer!

The premises has 6 jacuzzis and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with bbq areas!

This property was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen is absolutely stocked with everything you need to cook. You are right out front of the Blue Line shuttle, and if you want to walk up the hill to Canyon Lodge, it’s only 10 mins. We had so much fun and are considering another stay for later in the year!!

Bathroom toilets didn’t work well, many lights with burned out light bulbs, needs better lighting as a whole, could use better bedding and the heaters were hard to operate. As far facility entry ways smelled like mildew. Location is good. Could be a very nice rental with some TLC.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location-walking distance or two minute drive to Canyon Lodge. Underground parking was convenient. Condo was spacious and the layout worked well for our 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids). However, the furniture was old and many things seemed to be falling apart. For example, the top bunk in the loft was wobbly and unstable. We ended up putting that mattress on the ground for our kids to sleep on as they didn't feel safe sleeping on the top bunk. Also, one of the legs on the dining table was wobbly. The bathrooms and kitchen could also use some updating.

The kitchen was well equipped and there were games and entertainment/tvs in all bedrooms. The master bedroom is very large and private/quiet. Several of the windows could probably use replacing but the many wall heaters throughout kept the unit very warm...sometimes too warm lol. Would absolutely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was absolutely solid. Comfy beds, super spacious and open and loved how there was basically a bathroom per room. The only negatives I have was the wifi didn't work (it literally said connected but network not available on the status) so I couldn't work (not enough service for a hotspot to be used) and the paper towel rack had two pieces left on it - meaning it wasn't full before we arrived. Other than that the unit was awesome and the building even more so.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Mountainback several times over the past 20+ years. Although there have been some recent upgrades, this unit needs some TLC. Several items need attention - lamps in disrepair, television that could not be advanced, internet that was not working and windows that could not be fully closed.

Mammoth Mtn ski trip. Mountainback #53, Building 5

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is on the third floor from the covered garage. We knew that going in, it was not a problem for us. It was too far for us to walk in our ski boots to Canyon Lodge and it is uphill. However, the door leading out of the building is on the first floor and the Blueline shuttle stops right in front of the building and takes you to the village or Canyon Lodge. You can get off the shuttle at the village and ride the gondola to Canyon Lodge or just stay on the transit and get dropped off at Canyon Lodge. The ride is 5-10 min. Riding the shuttle to and from the ski hill worked out great. We even rode the shuttle back to the condo for lunch. The condo met our needs. The 2 main level bathrooms have been remodeled and were very nice. The condo had a eclectic mix of kitchenware. Modern and throwback to the 60's. There were plenty of plates, cookware, bakeware, silverware. Very much appreciated.
