Overlooking the historic swinging bridge, on the Iowa River, this newly-remodeled guest house features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and fully equipped new kitchen which opens to the living area. The large living room windows look onto the landscaped private patio and the river. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, the house is perfect for a relaxing weekend, or for a get-together with family or friends. The patio features comfortable wicker rockers, gas fireplace and gas grill. Quiet relaxing oasis to enjoy trees, birds and the river slowly rolling past.

Love the house, great location on a bluff above the river. We were only there overnight so we didn't use many of the amenities but all looked lovely. The shower was wonderful! The host responded in a timely manner which was appreciated greatly.

Second time staying here. It is convenient to where my aged mother lives, and better to have a home to ourselves than rent two or more rooms at a motel. Love the setting, and it's a very comfortable home.

LOVE this place!!!

We absolutely loved this place for the time we were able to be there. Had horse shows all day for two days and didn’t get to enjoy the patio or neighborhood as much as we would have liked to. Hope to be back again in the future. Beautiful home and location. Larry was great to woek with.

Perfect Home Away from Home to Visit!

We stayed here a week whole visitong our daughter at college. The views were amazing and the house was perfect for visiting! The kitchen was very well stocked and the host was very welcoming. We had no extras needs while we were there but I have no doubt he would have responded to any needs immediately. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. Even though it was right at the Swinging Bridge it was always quiet.

Wonderful Cottage with Awesome View

We were pleasantly surprised by this cottage! Larry was an excellent host and communicator. Having two king size bedrooms was perfect for a couples’ getaway. We stayed here to attend a wedding and would definitely return to be able to spend more time at the cottage itself. Well stocked kitchen, loved the patio overlooking the Iowa River. This is a hidden gem!!!!

Beautiful views of the River

Visiting family for the weekend. Location is close to town and has an absolutely gorgeous outdoor space. House was appointed very thoughtfully and was really attractive. I grew up in that area so have a very fond place in my heart for that particular stretch of the Iowa. Was fun to enjoy it from a different view. Recommend.

On the River

Location couldn’t be better! Unfortunately, a downpour the night we arrived so couldn’t enjoy the beautiful patio! Sat out there anyway in the cold with our coffee Sun. morning. Loved the lights on the bridge too!
