From the very moment of walking through the door, the peacefulness and stunning views of the canal were so very welcoming. The loaf of freshly made bread and spicy fig jam was a thoughtful touch. This home had everything you’d need while away from home, with a fantastic upstairs balcony accessed from two of the large bedrooms.

Perfect pre-Easter getaway

Went away for term 1 holidays with the kids, uncles and aunts. Location was perfect- beautiful and right on the water.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stunning views overlooking the canal. The property was very clean with all amenities and the area was very peaceful. We loved to sit on the Balcony to take in the atmosphere, however the weather wasn’t too good. Maybe an outdoor heater might have helped. Had a lovely meal at the yacht club near by. All in all had a great time.

Enjoyable but needs attention to a couple of issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location on Mariners Quay is ideal. The barbeque facility is excellent. Overall the property was reasonably well equipped.However there were a few niggling issues that need fixing. There are no sun lounger beds available to use whichj is most disappointing given the location and time of year. There is no WiFi available on the property. In this day and age WiFi connections are expected, particularly in the more higher end properties.The property is NOT suitable for families with youngchildren. There are steps and a pathway down to the jetty and the water from the rear patio but no safety gate is in place.The property could be cleaner. It appears the cleaners do not do a thorough job. Just one example from many, there were numerous dead insects on one of the beds which was brought to the attention of the agent after initial arrival. Other areas of the property require a good and thorough clean. I would recommend the property to friends etc. with certain reservations as highlighted.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property well located and generally ok but let down by several factors.Firstly we thought we'd do the covid safe thing and do a quick wipe down with antiseptic wipes. The wipes turned black on all surfaces including kitchen benches, dining table and hand rails.Though the floor looked dirty as well but when we retrieved the mop it was dirty as well so we left the floor.Rained the first few days we were there and we needed to do some washing. Unfortunately the dryer was missing in action, just a bracket where be it once was and nowhere under cover to hang any washing.Nice microwave, but like most short term rentals, only one small microwave container.

Beautiful unit- well appointed.

Beautiful spot to stay - house was clean and well appointed. Only criticism maybe have split system aircon up stairs as it was very hot. Will definitely revisit.
