Amazing home, amazing hosts, amazing time! We visited my daughter who lives in Loveland and decided to take everyone to Breckenridge for some quality family time; it did not disappoint. Jody and Phillip were exceptional hosts, and their home was a dream for our large family, offering plenty of space and activities in the area. They provided excellent recommendations, and we truly loved our experience! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the cozy round house!
The last time we were in Breckenridge was in 2010, where we rode in the mointains. We were able to capture this experience again, and had the perfect accommodation to do so.
We really enjoyed our stay at the round house. It is a unique house in a beautiful neighborhood. The bunk rooms were great for our kids, and the deck was a great place to enjoy coffee. The house could benefit from a thorough cleaning.
Had such a fun day hiking to peak 7 and taking gondola up from peak 8 to top of mountain. Ate some food had another beautiful hike! Had a blast and lication of house stupendous!
The Round House is great! Communication & check in was easy. Fantastic location, and the Round House was very clean. The hot tub was enjoyable, good internet, and the kitchen was well equipped -- including a great stove & nice grill. Plenty of space for our family of 4.
Was overall a cute place! We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for what we needed. I wish the house was a little cleaner when we got there. There were cobwebs, sticky countertops, and hair along the baseboards. Other than that it was a great place!!
We highly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for my family and very cozy. My kids loved the bunk beds and staircase. The massage chair was a plus, especially after playing in the snow. The patio was perfect for enjoying a drink and watching our kids play in the snow. We had all the necessities to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend.
Basic amenities were there. Hot tub was wonderful. We liked that it was a bit away from the downtown area. Beds were not comfortable, 1 main bed had a broken frame. House is a bit outdated in its decor but served us just fine.
I booked with a group of friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were disappointed when we realized it was not ski on/off like we originally thought it was (due to the fact that it is listed as being on peak 7). But it was still close enough to the mountain. We loved the uniqueness of the round house, and thought that it was a perfect location for our weekend stay. The kitchen had a good amount of supplies for us to cook each night, and the driveway was big enough for multiple cars. We also loved having a hot tub right in the yard to jump into after a day of skiing.Another huge plus of this location was how accommodatable the hosts were. They gave very specific instructions for how to work the hot tub, and had a handy book in the house for check out instructions. I reached out to them a few days before our stay for a late check out and they not only said that that was fine, but also told us the house was ready a bit early and we were able to check in before 4 which was amazing. My only complaint about this property was some of the cleanliness. The downstairs pull out couch was littered with crumbs when we pulled it out which was not an ideal place to sleep. There was also a light fixture in the kitchen that was covered in dead bugs. Granted it was high up and probably hard to clean but it definitely gave us the ick while cooking. Finally, the deck was not usable due to snow which was one of the reasons we booked. Overall, great spot! Would book again!
The property had a great location and nice amenities, including a big deck for enjoying the outdoors, a nice hot tub and plenty of parking for our guests. The biggest challenge with the property were the sleeping accommodations.
Both children and adults slept on the bunk beds during our stay. These beds were terribly difficult to climb into without injuring yourself. The mattresses were 3-inch foam on top of a box spring. This did not provide adequate padding to prevent a person from feeling the box spring.
The queen-size mattresses also sagged in the middle. One of our guests said he felt like he was rolled up in a taco by morning.
With better sleeping arrangements, this would be a lovely property to visit where you can enjoy the scenery during the days and sleep well at night.

First off, I do want to say that the communication with Philip was excellent and he even let us check in 2 hours early for free. I gave 1 star as this house is incredibly creepy. Upon arrival, there was an ouija board out in the open on the TV stand all by itself which we noticed within 60 seconds after getting there. This immediately gave this house a very unsettling vibe as it appeared the last guests had just used it before we arrived for our stay. For those that be unaware, ouija boards are used to communicate with spirits/entities both good and evil and essentially invite them into your life. I’m sure everyone has their own take on how harmless or harmful an ouija board can be, but I think nothing good can come from being around one of these, so it was hard for me and my wife to feel relaxed while inside this house. A bit about the house, it was relatively clean on arrival, the beds were comfy, the lighting is pretty poor throughout the house and definitely adds to the creepy vibe, the furniture and carpet is pretty old and we thought the pictures listed made this house look a little nicer than it actually is. We ended up checking out after one night as this house was overall just not the environment we were looking to stay in for our wedding weekend.
Philip and Jody had very good communication. The gardens of wildflowers and other plants were a beautiful oasis, the deck was large and new, and the bathrooms have been updated. We were disappointed that, for the price, it needs quite a bit of updating, but if the bathrooms are any indication of things to come, we would definitely consider returning. Oh and it's so close to Breckenridge but you're still out in the "country". Great location!
Great time in Breck! The house was situated in a great spot close to town but still felt secluded and was quiet in the evening. The host was very helpful with any questions and quick to respond.
The Round House had everything we needed for a week in Breckenridge in June. The Tesla charger and jacuzzi were a plus. The house is situated in a quiet area next to the forest and offers hiking trails directly from the house. Occasionally we saw moose even coming close to our driveway.
We has a great time! The house was perfect for 6 adults to all get our own bed. The hot tub was a great time for the evening while the porch was amazing for coffee and breakfast.
