Walk or ride beach cruisers to the beach for sunrise, and to the river for sunset.

The Neighborhood
Travel and Leisure named New Smyrna Beach one of the world's coolest surf towns!
Our "Barefoot Beach Bungalow" is located two blocks from the beach in NSB. It is a quiet and friendly beach side neighborhood just two blocks from Flagler Ave and a few miles from the entrance to Canaveral National Seashore.
New Smyrna is a characteristic old Florida town whose 13 miles of beaches are consistently rated as Central Florida's best! A tourists delight of rich cultural events, fresh seafood, artistic venues and just three miles to Canaveral National Seashore where hiking, sea combing, swimming and bird watching are a regular pastime. Even though the town is intimate and laid back, there is something for everyone in New Smyrna. Anglers can cast a line in efforts to break the international redfish catch record at Mosquito Lagoon and offshore and backwater fishing will keep your casting arm in good work out mode. Snorkeling, diving, water skiing, jet skiing and boat rentals are also available as well as access to river cruises, gambling cruises and catamaran sailing. A visit to the Turnbull and Sugar Mills ruins and historic Ponce Lighthouse will keep your historical side exploring and Surfers alight...No need to look elsewhere! Rated by National Geographic as one of the top 20 towns to surf.
Getting Around
Transportation beach side is by car. Scooters and bikes can be rented down the road. The beach and ICW are a couple of blocks away, just a 5 minute walk.
Other Things to Note
This charming town is filled with activities, food and entertainment. 13 Miles of clean clear beaches, nature walks, visit our national parks, view rocket launches, kayak with the dolphin and manatee. There are plenty of delicious places to eat and catch live music!
We would be happy to show you places of interest.
