Very convenient and comfortable

We came to Tampa for a concert and the property was very cute and comfortable. We checked in late after a long drive and stayed a couple of days. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the bathroom was so pretty and well appointed. We enjoyed staying in this property and it was very convenient to everything we did.

I'm a retired university professor with 2 adult children. My son lives in the Ybor section of Tampa and my daughter lives in Seminole Heights I grew up in Southern California but moved to Tampa over 40 years ago and love it here. Until I came to Tampa I had never lived anywhere longer than 8 years. So, if you ask me where I'm from, I ask you to define "from." Having been born in Upstate NY, grew up in California, graduated from HS in Ohio and came here from Michigan. So, where am i from??? I usually say wherever my suitcase is sitting. LOL

Why they chose this property

I bought this house when I had two children living with me. They are both long gone and own their own homes. My 16lb. cat, Puppie, and I do not fill the house. So, we decided to share the back of the home with guests. Puppie doesn't care who lives back there as he never goes to that part of the house. There is a locked door between the front of the house where Puppie lives and the back of the house where our guests stay.

Puppie and I love the 1926 style home. Original hardwood floors throughout and large window molding add to the ambiance. We hope you will enjoy the modernized 1926-style home.

What makes this property unique

Guests can walk 3 blocks to the river. Owner is on-site and willing to provide any information about the area that the guest wants. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. It is very close to 3 parks on the river. The location is walking distance to a Sports Bar, a small diner, one of the oldest liquor stores in Florida -a craft beer brewery, and a Bar that has been voted to have the "best Bar food" in Tampa. Seminole Heights has become the "foodie" destination in Tampa. If guests want information about restaurants, breweries or anything else, all they need to do is ask. The owner loves to brag about her neighborhood.
