Log style home nestled on 7 acres 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, loft, with modern amenities near Canyon Lake, Guadualupe & Comal Rivers. King Bedroom downstairs with bath, 2 bedrooms up with bunks and full baths. Bunks are perfect for familes of 4 or children. (one full, 2 twins)

Maximum 8 adults on bookings. Great property for family fun. Children will enjoy the trampoline and outdoor space including a basketball court. Loft with a place to hideaway.
Attached guest quarters counted as 4th bedroom, with queen bed, kitchenette, loft and game room. The guest room is attached to the main home and separated only by 2 doors through small hall way. Large fully equipped kitchen. Washer & dryer.

Covered front porch with combo gas/charcoal grill, fire pit in front yard, view of countryside, room to hike and walk. Basketball court, trampoline, plenty of parking.
Located just off FM 306 leading to New Braunfels & Schliterbaun (about 30 minutes) or FM 281 to San Antonio or Austin. Also nearby Wimberly(zip line and river) and Blanco (Blanco River park) and Texas Hill Country Trail.

Canyon Lake Marina, Canyon Lake Park & swim beach just about 5-10 minutes away, just up FM 306 from the home. The marina offers boat, kayak, jets ski rentals. There is also a waterfront restaurant (Baja Grill). The Horseshoe River float on the Guadalupe is just about 10-15 minutes, straight up FM 306. EZ float around the Horseshoe. Outfitters there include Shanty, Riversports, Andy's Tubes, Whitewater and more.

Great Cabin on the Hill Country

Had a fun weekend with friends from college and our young children. Our kids loved exploring the outdoors and the playroom inside the house. The treehouse and trampoline could use a bit of upkeep. The trampoline net was torn and the treehouse steps were pretty old and didn't seem super stable. We did a lot of cooking while there and he kitchen was mostly stocked with pans and utensils, however another knife for chopping would be nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay, great vacation

Really great stay. Fairly secluded, lots of space for our two families of four that stayed. Boys loved the basketball court and made great use of the front porch and grill. Near Canyon Lake beach, close to Tube Haus for a great float. Recommended!

Family Time

This property was a beautiful home, very spacious and well located within a 8-10min drive to Canyon Lake. We had a small family get together and the space was perfect for everyone. The kids throughly enjoy the trampoline and everyone got their turn on the hammock as well. The property outside was really beautiful, it was a mini Forrest and it was very private. The only downside is that the road to get there is not really paved, so it is a bit rough, and it’s very easy to miss the turn from the main road. The house was very clean when we got there. The only comments I would make is that there could be some better cooking pots and pans, we opted to rent a house because we did a lot of cooking for the family and it was a little challenging working with what was available. The beds weren’t super comfy overall, I understand that it’s not a hotel or anything, but just for the overall experience maybe upgrading them would be a good investment. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and we are definitely considering this property for future stays.
