Thanks for your 5-star review Lisa, we're thrilled to hear you had a lovely relaxing stay at our romantic love shack! We hope you can stay with us again.
The location is good, ten or fifteen minute walk to the Blairgowrie shops. The person we rang for checkin told us the cottage had just been done up and that the shower was dripping, and to let them know of any other issues. There were a fair few minor hiccups but these will probably be fixed for future guests. When I put the blinds down the first night, one fell off the wall and sawdust came down off the rest. There was sawdust in the drawer with the plates and glasses. Dripping shower was distracting at night as ensuite is next to bed. There was shampoo but no shower gel and we couldn’t get the hand soap dispenser to work, so we went and bought our own. The wifi keeps dropping out. The bed was comfy and the cottage was very nicely styled, so once these minor annoyances are fixed it will be a great place for a getaway.
Great long weekend, fantastic location, well appointed. Wifi Extender would be great.

Nice place, well presented
Generally good. Clean and tidy presentation and description matches the property. Good location, close to shops and beach.
Only one issue with the property itself - water would pool in the middle of the bathroom floor and it wouldn't dry out.
Don't book through HomeAway. Once you book, you are immediately directed to the Coast & Country Getaways to complete the booking and payment. Just book through Coast & Country Getaways from the beginning and save yourself the $50 service fee from HomeAway. Heads up, you need to fill out multiple forms to complete the booking.

Blairgowrie blunder
Thick spider webs hanging from ceiling and curtains, sand and dirt covered floor, dog hairs and stains on couch, linen and bed sheets. The couch needs replacing, not a blanket thrown over it to cover the sand, dog hairs, dirt and putrid stains as the PM suggested! Overall just filthy. Not the type of filth that eventuates from a missed clean here or there, but filth that has accumulated over many months or years perhaps..I would not let people stay there for free if it were my property. Has the potential to be really nice, but has been neglected. We contacted the property manager and asked for a refund, she was hesitant at first but when I mentioned sending photos of the filth she soon agreed and we vacated the property within an hour of arriving and stayed elsewhere..the headache of organising more accomodation on very short notice wasn't something we needed on our 5 day break. It's a real shame, but this is just an honest review.
