OCEANFRONT 3BR/2BA CONDO is located in idyllic Ormond-by-the Sea. Enjoy a slice of paradise in your beautiful yet comfortable space. Take long walks on the beach, lounge by the pool, bicycle along A1A, explore beautiful Ormond beach & famous and fast-paced Daytona just 15 mins away.
You are also close to beautiful Ponce De Leon springs where you can explore "Old Florida". Historic St Augustine is 45 min away and filled with shops, restaurant, and the stunning Flagler museum. OR... JUST RELAX!!
Your home away from home is a second floor condo overlooking both the pool and the Atlantic. You can enjoy getting up early and sitting on the balcony with a delicious cup of coffee watching the sunrise together.
Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors straight to the balcony and breathtaking views from bed if you would rather cozy in for the morning. The third bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds(sleeps 4 ) and is a bit private at the end of the hall.
Updated galley kitchen is fully stocked. Enjoy time together at your lovely large wood plank table with seating for six to eight. The waves beckon you outside to play! Peek into the foyer closet and borrow towels, chairs, floaties for the kids. swim, and boogie board and maybe take the sand castle making "toys" to have a sand castle building contest on the practically private beach! So quiet and nice! But many restaurants and good times await just 10 minutes away at lovely Ormond Beach and lively Daytona Beach.
Come back home to your air conditioned and comfortable living area with leather sofa and recliners make relaxing after a day in the sun and surf a pleasure. Watch Netflix or your favorite cable shows with one of our 3 smartTVs. The bookworms(like me!) Can borrow one of my books while the card sharks play using the games in the foyer closet. Take a late swim in the pool then cuddle into your comfortable king bed to dream of your next day in paradise!

Wonderful experience!

We had a great vacation at this condo! It was clean and well-equipped, and a great location in Ormond-by-the-Sea. We loved that it was a bit quieter than Daytona, but still close enough to everything.

Great owners-unfortunate timing of seawall construction.

Michele and Den were easy to work with. The check in process was efficient and they were quite responsive to our questions and(minor) concerns (blinds).Unfortunately, there was noisy seawall construction (necessary as it was) across the street from us the entire 5 weeks we were there.It might be interesting to be there without the sights and sounds of construction.

My sisters and I had a great time. We liked that the condo was not in the crowded area of the beach. It almost felt like a private beach. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the deck was amazing.

Beautiful beach front

The condo had the perfect view to the ocean. Owner was amazing to deal with. Condo was great! The master bathroom is almost the size of the bedroom!

Beach feel, nicely set up

Oh my in Ormond!

Spent 7 weeks here and enjoyed every moment! The place was wonderful and the view from the balcony led to a breath taking sunrise every morning! Walks on the beach were fabulous. Great restaurants in the area gave plenty of choices for meals. Many options of things to do in Ormond Beach as well as nearby Daytona Beach. Definitely a place to get away to and relax.

Christmas Getaway

We had an enjoyable time at Michelle's property. The condo was clean, well appointed, and presented as described. Beds were comfortable and loved being able to just leave a window or a sliding door cracked open and being able to hear the ocean all night long. There were plenty of beach chairs and other beach items stored away in the front closet. Short drive to grocery store, bars, and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked for staying in for a meal as well. Would stay here again!

Convenient location

We stayed here Jan - March and love the location of this condo. It is convenient to grocery shopping and many eateries. There is no public beach parking making it feel more residential. Feels safe. The pictures posted for this unit are accurate for layout and such. The “bunkbed room” is very small, but it serves the purpose. Kitchen is small but workable. Looks like a newer stove, microwave and fridge. Big washer/dryer is in the kitchen (behind bifold doors across from stove). Good, fast wifi and nice TV’s- good for streaming.
Convenient water hoses for carwash or for rinsing off.
The check in instructions were confusing, but Michele quickly responded and explained. She’s good to work with. What bothered us may not bother you - traffic noise from A1A can get annoying. Also, entry to the pool area is through the locked Amenities room and then locked pool gate. This is an older building and salt air takes a toll, inside and out.
 But all in all (aside from the weather) we had a great stay.

Nice place... But need some TLC.

My family and I stayed at this condo for a month, to start with the positive; the property is very well located across a great beach and somewhat secluded (no crowds). The condo itself is spacious for the most part except the kitchen which is somewhat small and minimally equipped. The beds are very comfortable in all three bedrooms. For the less positive side of things; unfortunately, the property is suffering from gentle neglect where several minor inconveniences were contended with such as broken bifold doors, slats missing in the blinds in most rooms, broken towel holder and clogged shower head. The living room furniture is very tired and is no longer what I would consider comfortable. Some more serious issues also developed such as leaking fridge, which was replaced within two weeks with a very nice one, the over-the-stove microwave shorted out, the owner ask that I replace it with a temporary one pending resolution and, the stove is literally falling apart from old age is also in urgent need to be replaced. I also have to mention that some safety concerns were raised with the owner as well, such as the safety interlock for the dryer is broken and need to be fixed, the balcony door no longer locks and the balcony chairs legs are badly rusted and may not support an adult weight. This is most concerning should you visit with small children. While this all seem to be daunting, we adapted and continued our vacation and enjoyed the beach and the area. The owner was receptive and apologetic about the host of problems encountered and hopefully she will implement corrective actions for the issues mentioned soonest. This condo has tremendous potential and simply need some needed TLC and some upgrade to the amenities.

Dear Yvon, Thank you for your honest review. I so appreciate your fair assessment and am working to make our place better for the next guest. We have replaced the fridge, microwave, and upgraded to a flattop stove. We also are replacing the outdoor table and chairs to a more durable set that will last much longer in the harsh sea air. The minor repairs such as slider lock and dryer are being evaluated and steps to repair or replace are being taken. We have replaced several blinds have extra slats for the sliding blinds(in the bunkbead room closet so we can replace them as needed). We will be replacing the uncomfortable recliners in August. Also as a tiny point of clarification, I offered to bring a microwave on the weekend or reimburse for one if you decided to buy it same day. I would never ask a guest to pay for something out of pocket without reimbursement. But I was so sorry that it went out on you and happy to reimburse you so you did not have to go 2 days without a microwave. I do try to be responsive and treat our guests as we would want to be treated. You were right on target that the kitchen needed some new appliance and that is the first thing we did. Hope you will return again to see if we improved. Thanks again, Michele

Sunny beach

Got in very late. We had the address, but never the name of the condo. All we ever saw was Ormond by the sea. Not knowing it was the area we were at. Drove up and down the street until the owner walked us through how to get in. After that it was good.

Michele, the owner, was wonderful. She was gracious, friendly and easy to deal with. This is a quiet spot but close to everything. The condo was perfect for our girls trip. We had three moms and 5 tween girls. There was plenty of space. We did have to cross a busy street to go to beach but the view was still amazing. We loved the location of the pool too. Having bikes was tricky. Hope a bike rack can be installed. Our kids loved riding bikes around. We will definitely book this again! Thank you Michele!

Amazing Location

We definitely wanted to be away from the crowds and this location really delivered. The perfect views from the balcony and having the beach right across the street were just incredible. Michele was so on top of every little thing. I loved the set-up with two of the bedrooms in their own "wing". The only thing that didn't cooperate was the weather, but that just makes us want to come back so we can get the full experience!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved that it felt like we had our own private beach. The condo had everything we needed and Michelle was great to communicate with! King bed was a little too hard for our liking, but overall it was good! We would stay again!

There was left over food in the refrigerator from previous guest. Used bars of soap left in showers from previous guests. A cooler full of rotten food/drinks full of slime and mold. The bed frame broke, a thin piece of wood, broke and the bed was not usable for a night. She had the audacity to file a claim on the insurance I had to pay for.when this was in no way a result of our actions. But she had done the same to another guest with a dishwasher that needed to be replaced. This unit is run down and dirty. I guess she will upgrade as insurance claims are filed on the insurance her quests pay for. She was able to file for expenses for her father and the maid's son going to walmart to buy another bed frame and set it up. The insurance sent me a notice of what she was paid, she made a profit. Explained to me that she recently bought condo and had recently moved, so she hadn't been able to be as hands on with the place. Even though I paid the insurance premium and I did without a bed for the night, she made a profit. Never would I recommend one of her units. So sad and disappointing.

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay in our home.  The condo is from the 1990's and has the original fixtures.  But it has fresh paint and modern decor.   I am sorry that you did not like having soap and shampoos available.  The bar of soap was freshly opened and we provide shampoo and conditioners in large containers for those who are flying and cannot bring their own.  We have since moved from bar soap to body wash.   Regarding food in the refrigerator, as I said when we spoke on the phone we leave condiments in the door.  Many guest enjoy having ketchup, mustard etc to get them started for their week.  We also leave any leftover sugar, salt, spices, coffee, and  oil for the next guests  to use or not use at their pleasure.   I am truly sorry the bed frame broke during your stay. If I had known as soon as it happened I would have found  a place for you.  When you called me the next morning and my handyman was out of town I had my 80 yr old dad( a former builder) and my handyman's son drive 200 miles each way to set up the new frame.  You had purchased HomeAway's recommended CSA insurance for an accidental damages.  Broken beds are just what is covered under this type of policy.  I paid my dad mileage and tolls.  I also paid my dad and handyman's son. I made ZERO dollars.  The insurance company  has full receipts of everything.  No money  comes out of a guest's deposit nor pocket when they have the insurance.  I am unsure of what dishwasher you are speaking of but I have never have claimed anything before or since using insurance.  I am a Premier Partner(top rated host) and have never had a problem with a guest in 3 yrs of hosting and I am sure sorry that you had such a bad experience.  I do hope that you find the perfect place for your next vacation and I wish you well.
