Kalamunda 6 - On the Rail Trail

Conveniently located on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, Kalamunda 6 is the perfect base for keen cyclists.

This one-bedroom unit backs onto the Rail Trail, a short 1 km walk or ride Bright's town centre or easy 5km ride to Porepunkah, the unit is great for those looking to explore the region. National parks and ski fields are just a short drive.

The unit sleeps 2 guests in a King Bed with an electric blankets and built-in robe.

All bedding, linen and bath towels are provided. BYO river/pool towels.

A fully equipped lounge and kitchen area awaits after a long day of exploring the Alpine Valleys, including TV, Blu-ray DVD, and of course reverse cycle heating and cooling. The kitchen is fully self-contained and includes electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Bathroom is complete with shower over bath and separate toilet as well as a wall strip heater.

Separate to the unit, the laundry includes washing machine and clothes dryer.

A BBQ is available for guests to use as well as a bike rack. In summer guests have access to a communal swimming pool shared with other residents in the unit complex.

Wifi: Whilst we do anticipate Wifi will be available during your stay, it is not guaranteed. Wifi availability is dependent on the network provider.

Great place, nicely renovated

Stayed here previously, but now, wow, so much more modern and well renovated. Kudos to the owners, its very very nice.

Property listed as two bedroom with multiple beds. Arrive to find its a 1 bedroom and the 2nd bedroom is locked with no access to the other beds.

Great place to stay. Cozy, great location, right on the walking track and close to town. The only issue was the hot water system. It would just go stone cold midway through a shower occasionally for several minutes for no reason.

Disappointingly poor

Arrived with no functioning hot water, which magically was fixed the next day with no explanation why from the agent. The venue is very dark and dingy and it is not possible to read at night with the lack of light. The venue sleeps four but don’t expect to be able to all eat as the venue has insufficient plates, cups and other kitchen needs. Very overpriced for what you get. Don’t waste money here.

Ideal location in a beautiful town

Well equipped, in a quiet spot, close to a supermarket. Many walking trails nearby and a half hour drive to Mt Buffalo for more great walking. Easy parking and good laundry facilities.
