This old Victorian home boasts beautiful bay windows, original fireplaces (non-operable), ornate moldings, a carefully curated courtyard, and elegant modern finishings, but the best feature is its view of Forsyth Park. The home directly overlooks the park. The juxtaposition of the elegant home and its view, which is both calming and breathtaking, makes it a can't miss property. This home build in the late 1800's has been renovated to fit our guest needs.

The private home is on the second floor of a duplex. Comprising of two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, 4 to 6 people can be accommodated in comfort. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for southern home cooking.... away from home! Entertain yourselves in front of the flat-screen TV, relax in the beautiful courtyard, or watch the world go by the infamous Forsyth Park from the front porch.

1) We provide a single parking spot in the back of the home. There is free street parking around the corner from the home.

Fantastic stay

The house iis lovely. The check-in process was very easy and clear directions were given. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The stairs leading up to the place are steep, but no one in my family had any issues. We did not really use the kitchen during our short stay so I cannot comment on this. However, the kitchen was nice and spacious. As previous reviewers have stated, there is some loud street noise during the night. However, you can't beat the location overlooking beautiful Forsythe Park. We had a fantastic stay!

A mix of past and present

My husband and I loved our stay in this beautiful Victorian house with upgraded modern conveniences. The location was awesome, the owner was very responsive & kind, and the house was clean & comfortable.

Great place. We didn't hang out here much and spent most of our time walking around. The place has a lot of character- it's the upstairs of an old home (think: old wood floors, high ceilings, ornate wood moldings, etc), which to us was a much better choice than a local hotel. Lots to see and do right here and our only regret was not staying longer. Well worth it.
