Conveniently located one block from Waikiki Beach, this NON-SMOKING, one bedroom unit is close to a variety of activities including the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Shopping, Restaurants, Surfing and other water activities. The lobby offers a coffee shop, convenience store, and beautiful local art. Located on each floor are laundry facilities.
Located on the 9th floor in Tower 1, this unit features granite counter tops in a full sized kitchen including dishwasher. This unit has a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living area. Enjoy morning coffee on the lanai with both partial ocean and mountain views. Included in the unit is a flat screen television in the living area, and FREE Wi-Fi internet. Included in your reservation is FREE PARKING worth $45 per day! Parking garage height limit is 6 feet. High profile vehicles will not be able to enter garage due to height limit.
Check in time is 4pm, checkout time is 11am. Early check in or late check out may be available and must be inquired about at time of reservation.

Property was clean and conveniently located. It was a bit worn and sparse. Limited plates and glasses. The AC was a single window unit. With overheads fans, was reasonably comfortable. Free parking and beach gear was a plus. Plenty of towels. Not enough coffee and toilet paper for a four night stay. Manager responded promptly when contacted.

Great location, great accommodations

The property is about 3 blocks from Waikiki beach and has the zoo and aquarium within walking distance. The playground and pool/hot tubs were very clean and loved by our kids. The property had more than enough towels, linens, and kitchen essentials! There is some building construction that made elevators run slow or added some noise. This unit also had beach blanket, chairs, and a stroller that all came in handy! We would definitely stay again!

Waikiki Banyan!

The host was super friendly and very easy to communicate and to work with. The place was very clean when we got here. The property was also down the street from Waikiki Beach and the strip so it was very easy to get around. Overall the experience was a 10/10! Definitely will be booking again with Monica!

Perfect spot for experiencing Waikiki!

We had such a wonderful stay- it was a great location, near amenities but rather quiet in the evening. The fresh air and open windows with balcony provided a lovely escape daily. Thanks Monique for being such a kind host and responding so quickly to all of our requests.

Ken's Stay at Waikiki Banyan

The room itself was great as well as the host. The building's location makes if very convenient to the beach and shops. Unfortunately, the building elevators get a zero rating. The wait times were long and in several cases, the elevator did not stop on our floor. Because we were on the 9th floor, we utilized the fire stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible. Downtown Waikiki is very loud day and night and that limited our use of the balcony and keeping the sliding window open.

This rental was as advertised. The location was amazing.

Located close to the beach and shopping. Walking distance to the Zoo. On a main bus route so if you like to take public transportation to get around I would recommend. The busses will take you to Pearl Harbor as well as the airport. Bus Route 20 goes to the airport. Also, there were a few things not working in the unit such as the door to the bedroom but I am sure it can be easily fixed. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay

This was our 4th stay at the Waikiki Banyan and our 1st stay in this condo. Great location for me and my husband because we didn't have to do laundry or empty our garbage except when we left so we were far from that end of the hallway and the related noise. Great to be on the end unit and not too high (9th floor) because elevators seems a little slow this time. Could have used some kitchen staples (sugar, olive oil, zip lock bags, etc.) so we wouldn't have to buy them, but the kitchen had everything else we needed to cook a nice meal - even though we went out most of the time. Appreciated the beach chairs, coolers and hand pump for the floatie toys that we bought for my niece and nephew who were staying with my sister and hubby in another unit in the other tower. Great location and very easy to get in with our personal key code - no problems at all. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic home away from home!

My wife and I have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan a total of 13 times in 5 different condos. We have been fortunate in that all of those places were nice and comfortable and certainly met our needs. This was our first time staying at Monique's condo and were certainly looking forward to it. The pictures were nice and the reviews were good. Boy were we impressed when we finally got there. This condo has everything you could ask for any stay in Waikiki. The kitchen is modern and has excellent appliances. It is fully stocked with anything you might need to prepare meals if you want to cook. Rather than go on about the amenities that are all listed in Monique's condo description, I will simply say that both my wife and I agreed that if we could own any of the condos that we have seen and stayed at, Monique's would be the one. While of course you know you are on vacation while staying there, everything about the condo just says home. The only downside that I can speak about for us is the bed setup. When we travel as a family we are a family of 4. We have 2 teenagers (a boy and a girl) so this condo would not work for us for sleeping arrangements. But, when my wife and I travel as a couple only, this will be the only condo I will ever rent again. Finally, Monique was easy to communicate with and very fast on refunding our damage deposit. We actually got the notification of that as we were flying back home! I am super impressed with everything.

Unbelievable Find

We’ve never used VRBO before but I’ve booked through them for employees at work. After an exhaustive hotel search, the thought to check this option popped into my mind. It seemed like a good find but I was somewhat suspicious (is it really that close to the beach at that price with free parking). I didn’t know if we would have the amenities found in a typical hotel but they were all there except daily tidying up. Last time we came to Honolulu, eating out was expensive and disappointing. We’re kind of harsh judges on our eating out experiences. We stopped at Costco and made nearly every meal in this unit. This also enabled us to have ready breakfast for early excursions - being at diamond head or Hunauma Bay or Pearl Harbor when they opened allowed us to beat the crowds and watch the sunrise. Cooking together is fun for our family. We used the grills on floor 6 to BBQ. The unit had two ice chests available for our beach excursions and to Hunauma Bay. There were beach chairs and umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels. Last time we came to Honolulu, only the Ritz Carlton provided beach towels at no additional charge. As stated, parking was included but the SUV we rented barely fit on the main parking level - so keep that in mind. We used the laundry facility as well. All of us loved not having to remember to take a hotel key with us whenever we left. The unit was comfortable for our family for hanging out when not out exploring. Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We loved it and will contact you again if our travels bring us back this way!

Monique was wonderful at replying quickly. She was very responsive. Hassle free check-in which we loved. The furniture is a little bit dated. The bed/mattress is comfortable. The one small issue we had is that the water pressure is terrible in the bathroom.The faucets are really old and when you turn on the shower water it also comes out of the bath faucet.Excellent location we never had any issues with loud noises. The parking was awesome and very helpful.They had a fan located on the dresser drawer, which was nice. Checking out was a very easy process as well. We would recommend this condo.

This location was absolutely perfect. Close to everything yet just set back enough to not be overwhelmingly loud. We slept peacefully! The host responded very quickly and was so kind! Definitely will book again when we come back!
