Overlooking the lagoon pool and with access to all the resort facilities

You will enjoy this one bedroom Apartment that comfortably accommodates 2 adults and is located within the magnificent Pacific Blue Resort at Salamander Bay. Your long balcony overlooks the Resort’s unique meandering lagoon pool and is the perfect spot for morning coffee or for just relaxing with a good book or glass of wine.

Inside your 1st Floor Apartment you find a spacious living room and bedroom and both are separately air conditioned. Your kitchen is fully equipped with essential major items such as dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, oven, refrigerator & coffee pod machine(BYO Aldi pods). The usual crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, glasses, jug and toaster are all there for you and of course, your apartment has a laundry with a washer and dryer.

The lounge faces a large screen 3D TV and there is a DVD/Blu-ray/CD player and a small assortment of DVDs. For a large Speaker ambiance, you can dock your iPod/iPhone into the radio/stereo tower.

Your bedroom has a queen bed with a wall-mounted TV and although air conditioned, you also have balcony access. Towels, linen and bed-makes are provided and a large bathroom adjoins your bedroom with vanity, shower, spa bath and toilet.

You can visit the nearby Salamander Shopping Centre with boutique shops, food court, Big W, Coles and Woolworths. Aldi, McDonalds & KFC are also nearby, and there is Ten Pin bowling & fitness centres just across the road from the Resort. What about discovering the many other attractions of the beautiful Port Stevens area, such as Nelson Bay, Anna Bay, Shoal Bay?….all just a short 10min drive away.

All the Resort facilities are available to you. Enjoy meals at the Resort Restaurant instead of cooking your own, or take time to enjoy tennis(BYO racquets), or exercise in the fully equipped Gym, or do laps in the enclosed heated pool, or maybe just do nothing but lay back and enjoy the surroundings.

Love the place

We love the place. The place was clean and cozy. Few downs of our stat was: -Not enough tissue rolls for 4days(we only had two rolls for the entire stay) - The pillows are a bit stinky( smell of sweat) except the 4 pillows that we put new pillow cases on.( we only had 4 pillow cases for 4 person) -the aircon in the room shuts off as soon as you turn it on. It doesn’t matter if you put it on 24-20 degrees. As per the instruction. But it was next to shops and the beaches.

Nice apartment overall. Great view over the pool and you get most of the days sun. Very spacious and practical. Few areas of potential improvement: - fix the main entry door, it is very difficult to open and having joint problems only makes it worse. - the timer on the clothes drier doesn't work at all. It will keep running if not fixed. - the AC in the living room leaks a lot of water - more attention on cleaning. Found it a little dusty and hairs on the tiles. - get a small dining room table and move the sofa bed near the tv

Everything was good overall, but there are some issues to note: 1. The real estate management is unfriendly. 2. The property keys were problematic: we had one functioning key for the parking gate and one for downstairs, but the swipe key and room key didn't work. Attempts to contact management were unsuccessful. 3. The bed sheets were dirty,sofa bed and the bed cover had a stain that required washing. I would rate the property cleaning 2 stars, communication 0 stars, but for a place to stay and have fun, it deserves 5 stars—no complaints.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the facilities were good, the apartment was clean, there was a play station and games which the kids enjoyed. I had some issues with value for money after paying a premium price. For example I had to make the beds which I didn't expect, there was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, the ironing board was broken.

Stay in Nelson Bay

While I think the property was really nice, there were few things that happened that made our experience mixed. First, we never received the check in pack by email and the msgs we sent to the owner were not replied at all (to this moment). We were luck to know where to pick the key only because of the recipient from the hotel which was not her role to take care of us! 2nd, there was not kitchen table in the unit, high bar is not suitable for little kids! I find it very annoying as well. I would also expect to have some manual how to use the different electronic devices etc

Loved the resort and pool, the room could use some love and attention, the bathroom/bedroom smelt musty and mouldy.. not sure if it was from the bathroom not having good ventilation or the airconditioner on the wall. Also had to use 2 beach towels to cover the plantation shutters to have full privacy in the bedroom as there was about 8 slats missing, with full view to adjacent rooms! Would most likely return to the resort but would stay in another room and on the ground floor with direct pool access!

Very nice and clean. However, aircondition unit suddenly stopped working. But overall, it’s a great place to stay. Will definitely come back and refer to others

What a fabulous apartment! It had EVERYTHING we could possible have needed. For a one-bedroom, it felt really spacious and the huge balcony was like having an extra room! Wish it had been longer....we will definitely be back. The extra touches go a long way - this was the best equipped place we have ever stayed.
