The French doors open to the outdoor living area and pool, so the first thing you see in the morning is the azure Caribbean! The second and third bedrooms , also with all new linens and towels, share a bath. The living area has sliding doors that open completely to the veranda for true indoor/outdoor living. And if you need to connect while on Curacao, Villa Sirena has free high speed internet and a computer workstation. The remodeled kitchen is A CHEFS DREAM! Complete with a full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, double sink, gas cooktop and oven, Villa Sirena has all you need and more to prepare gourmet meals. All dishes, glasses, coffee maker and mugs and more are at your fingertips!
Just minutes from Villa Sirena is the Coral Estate Beach, Dive & Wellness Resort. There you will find two fabulous restaurants/bars, Karacter and the Koraal rooftop restaurant and bar. Karacter is directly on the beach and Koraal is just above next to the gorgeous pool. Steps away is the amazing 8 Spa where you can pamper yourself with a massage, hair style, manicure/pedicure and more.
Curacao is known for it's beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving. Coral Estate and Villa Sirena are right in the heart of the best beaches and diving on the island! The dive shop at Oasis Coral Estate is Coral Divers. From beach dives, boat dives, and sunset cruises to arranging fishing trips, they will take good care of you. There's also incredible shore diving and snorkeling at the nearby beaches. Daibooi Beach, Playa Porto Marie and Cas Abao beaches are just minutes away by car and all have on-site dive shops. You can also rent tanks and take off up the west coast of Curacao and find your own unexplored beaches and dive sites. Head to Westpunt, Playa Piskado, or dive with Go West Diving for a real treat.
If you like to hike, visit Mount Christoffel or follow the paths along Boca Tabla where the north shore waves crash into the rugged coastline. There's SO much to see above and underwater on Curacao!

Wonderful retreat

Villa Serena is the perfect get away! It's just a short drive to some most beautiful beaches. One of the things we liked was how nice it was to be on what we found to be the quieter side of the island. The house is laid out well; while it was just the two of us, it would work great for two couples or a family. The kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommend!

Great Villa, Nice Location in safe Estate, with Pool

Great villa all around! Well stocked, clean and has a great pool setup. Awesome location close to Porto Marie and not too far from either end of the island! Also safe and quiet. The kids swam in the pool every morning and evening before/after our daily adventures. Also a great view! Best location we’ve stayed in 4 trips!

Nice location and neighborhood

Villa Sirena checked all the boxes for our stay in Curacao. The location was terrific (away from congestion, but within 30 minutes of the east and west end) and the property felt safe and secluded even though it was located in a neighborhood setting. It is well stocked and the communication, if needed during our stay, was very good. We were able to scuba dive, learn a bit of history about the island, and relax...which for us, was the most important thing!

Beautiful home with beautiful views

The home is well stocked with everything you may need. We had an issue with a breaker, but it was quickly remedied. The finishes in the home are new and modern. The pool was relaxing and the views are stunning. Its a great home base to explore the island.

Villa Serena luv

This our second visit to this property. Why repeat, you ask? Scott's super easy to deal with and has great communication. He has a great team on island to help with easy check in / check out. Thanks again Ingrid. This is a great private, safe property, comfy beds, great appliances, knives etc. We used pool daily, used on site restaurant Korral a couple times. Food, service, pretty lame though. Thanks again for a great Curacao vaca. JL

Beautiful and comfortable

We had a great stay at villa Serena! The property is beautiful and the veranda has amazing ocean view! The house is very clean and has everything for the comfortable stay. The location is great: close to all of the best beaches and to the capital. Scott is a great host and gave us a lot of very useful information about the island.

A wonderful vacation escape

We loved staying at Scott and Suzette’s villa! Everything is as pictured and the house is lovely and well equipped. The outdoor space - the pool and the views are amazing! Communication with the host was great and we got lots of tips and ideas of things to do. The property manager, Ingrid greeted us on arrival and was very responsive during our stay. We would highly recommend this villa.

Amazing

Wonderful place to stay. We were looking for a quiet vacation and found it at Scotts place. From months out prior to our visit until we arrived communication and enthusiasm from him for our visit was fantastic. Ingrid was at the house to greet us and make us feel welcome and throughout our visit was available to help us with navigating the island and responding to questions. The pool was inviting and relaxing every day. The bed was one of the most comfortable I had been in for a while. The views from the back porch were great to watch everyday and a top beach right up the street less than 6 minutes away. Would stay here again. Thanks Scott for the use of your house.

Loved This Place!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. This place had everything you could possibly need, and was super clean upon arrival. This was our first trip to Curaçao and we loved every minute of it. When we weren’t exploring the island, or at a beach, we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. The views were amazing…day and night. Scott was wonderful to communicate with while planning our trip, and checked in after we arrived. Ingrid also was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. We would definitely return to this property!

Beautiful home and view!

Villa Sirena is a fantastic home with a beautiful view of the sea! Fully stocked home and kitchen has everything you need. The newly renovated kitchen is great if you like cooking and the outdoor patio and pool are wonderful. Scott and Suzette are a great hosts and provided us with all the information we could want from logistics to things to do around the island. Location of the house is very convenient to the beautiful cove beaches on the West side of Curacao. The home is located in Coral Estates, a lovely gated community with great amenities including 2 restaurants, a private beach and a Spa. We loved our stay at Villa Sirena and will definitely be back again!

Spacious and comfortable with a cook’s kitchen.

This was our fourth time to Curacao and Coral Estates and we really enjoyed Scott’s house. Unlike properties that are purely vacation rentals, in Scott’s house you feel like you’re in a home. There are a lot of thoughtful touches like extra power strips for charging, plenty of hanging racks and towels, and above all a wonderful cook’s kitchen. It was terrific to have good knives, Microplane graters, and all kinds of mixing bowls and colanders. We cook for ourselves on vacation and we often find the sparsely stocked kitchens in most rentals difficult to work with. At Scott’s it was almost like cooking at home. We were only two, but with the big kitchen island to gather around this property would be perfect for a bigger family or group. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection in Paradise

This place is amazing - pictures just don't do justice to the beauty and tranquility of this property. The villa is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the pantry of staples was a bonus. The outdoor space is huge and tranquil. Even though there are homes on either side the veranda is quiet and private. The pool is the perfect size and although not heated the water temperature was perfect all day long. Scott is the consumate host. He was easy to communicate with often replying in minutes to emails. He provided a wealth of information about the island for the first timer and his restaurant recommendations were spot on. The property manager Ingrid was lovely and available 24-7 for any issues or questions. You can't go wrong in booking this property. We've already booked for next year and can't wait to go back.

Magnificent Private Villa, Large Patio and Pool. We enjoyed every minute in this beautiful Villa.

Everything was perfect, from the clean house and well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with fresh linen to the large open space, high ceiling living room expanding to the even larger patio. We spent most of our time enjoying the spectacular sea view and the pool was refreshing. We will 100% stay here again. Location is perfect out of the rush of the city yet an easy drive to everything including the best beaches. This Villa is very private, management were available always to meet every need or question we had, such lovely kind service. Upscale grocery store close by and Karakter Restaurant at Corel Beach down the road was much enjoyed, lovely dinners and breakfast. We used the private daybeds on the beach where they served cocktails and lunch. Thank You for a memorable experience, we love Curaçao!

Hidden Gem

I know it’s a cliche, but it really is a hidden gem. The view is magnificent! This is the most well stocked kitchen that I have ever been in from a rental stand point. There are two really good restaurants within the neighborhood and great snorkeling. The location is great, while not “in town,” is convenient to Willemstad and other areas. Scott and Ingrid are very nice and easy to work with. We felt the Carrefour was a nicer grocery store than the Centrum and not much further away. You definitely need a car and did not feel like the driving was any more crazy than driving in a large city in the states. People are so nice (even while driving)!

Excellent home away from home!!

We stayed 9 fabulous nights at villa Sirena! Everything about it was perfect from the gorgeous pool overlooking the ocean to the giant patio where we spent the majority of our downtime! The owners were amazing in their communication and giving us tips and ideas of where to go and what to see! The on-site managers were easy to get ahold of and came right away when we had trouble with one of the ac units! The beds were very comfortable, ac units were a plus, and the inside space was perfect for our family of four which included two 17 year olds! The gated community that villa Sirena is in is beautiful and we always felt super safe walking around! There is a great little trail down the hill that connects with the resort which has two restaurants and a pool as well as some pretty decent shore snorkeling which we enjoyed! The house was stocked with everything that you need for a stay, including washer, blenders, fully stocked kitchen, cooler, chairs, beach towels-everything you need! We would definitely return! We had an amazing time visiting Curacao and really enjoyed all the gorgeous beaches and beautiful sunsets from our pool every night!

Little piece of paradise!

Villa Sirena is a beautiful house in Coral Estate and the entire property is welcoming and peaceful. A notebook is was provided with a lot of ideas of things to do or places to see if you were at a loss. There is so much to do!!! When we weren't out and about, we'd be relaxing on the veranda or in the pool. The bedrooms had great ACs and ceiling fans so we were always comfortable at night. The kitchen had anything you could possible need for a gourmet meal although it was so warm, we kept it simple and grilled out for dinner or went to a few restaurants. Scott provided bird seed to feed the birds every morning and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them hang out most of the time if we were in the pool. Also enjoyed seeing all the little lizards and iguanas at the house too. Every morning we'd take a walk through the neighborhood and down the path to the resort to either have breakfast or grab a coffee. I loved looking at all the pretty homes and plants on the resort. We stayed two weeks and would love to come back. My only suggestion would be to have a few pool rafts available for guests. We bought an inflatable one at the resort dive shop to use and left it for the next guests. Otherwise, it was a WONDERFUL place to vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Amazing view!

The property is exactly as Scott describes! Located in a quiet, secluded, gated community. Amazing view from the pool deck and great outdoor area. Kitchen has eveything you need to make just about anything! Scott provided excellent information on getting to the house, local restaurants and attractions, which definitely aided us in our adventures! Great wifi and access to a new smart TV to keep you in touch with the outside world, but in all honesty, cell coverage on the island is great!! The only negatives are if you want to explore the island (which we did alot), you are dependent on a car and the roads from the main road to Coral Estates are definitely on the bumpy and narrow side. And just to note, the main part of the house does not have A/C, only the bedrooms do, but with the front door and sliding doors open, there is a good breeze passing thru. Just sometimes it cant offset the humidity. Scott is an excellent owner and Ingrid is a great local host. Always responsive on WhatsApp and able to provide recommendations on things to do and where to go!

Villa Sirena - Everything as described and MORE

Our family of five booked Villa Sirena mostly because of the veranda, the pool and that VIEW!! It literally takes your breath away walking out to it every morning!! However, Villa Sirena is so much more! The home is so comfortable and not one detail is overlooked. The kitchen is truly a gourmet kitchen, with every utensil and appliance you need to prepare a full meal. With five us and the cost of food on the island being pretty high, we realized quickly we'd be smart to cook some dinners at the villa. We moved around the kitchen like it was ours back home! The grill was wonderful; the beds were comfortable and pillows were too! Scott and Suzette left a ton of very helpful information in a binder that we took with us everywhere we went! All the recommendations were spot on! The owners were always responsive and quick to answer any questions we had - very accommodating. Coral Estates is gorgeous too - great restaurants, beach, snorkeling. Our first visit to this beautiful and delightful island was all that we hoped and it started with the amazing Villa Sirena...definitely won't be our last trip, and the Villa Sirena will always be our first choice for accommodations.

Fantastic

Simply wonderful. The house is very quiet and comfortable. The trade winds kept the house cool. We left the doors open while we were in the home, but the air conditioners in the bedrooms were nice as the doors were shut at night to keep the mosquitoes out. Kitchen is very well stocked. The views from the porch are just like in the website picture but even more impressive in person. The pool was cool and refreshing. Very well kept house. Clean and tidy. Highly recommend the house and the resort. Owners were accomodating. Top marks Coral Estates is lovely. The restaurants in the resort are surprisingly good, but we preferred the upper bar for eating. Very nice staff. Dont miss Green Egg night. We never used the beach at the resort but the dive shop had all we needed. Highly recommend getting off the beaten track. Although Daabooi beach was where we spent most beach days and right down the road we found Playa Largu and Playa manzillo after an interesting drive down a dirt road and had them both to ourselves. Magical.

Wonderful!!!

I just have to say, if you are looking for a place you can just trash and party, this is not the place to go! This is home with a homey feel to it, that you are welcomed into! We rented another house in the resort and you could tell it was a rental house! This home is beautifully decorated, very well stocked with everything you may need to have a wonderful time! If you like to cook, there is everything you need, from pots and pans, good quality to all the spices you could need! The sunset views are extraordinary! Coral Estate also is a great resort in a beautiful location! If you are a scuba diver, the Coral Diver shop has everything you need to dive conveniently! The house reef is beautiful! On the last day we found the elusive sea horse! As you go down and you find the rope, follow it towards the reef abd before you go down the reef, there are a few clusters of gorgonians, the black kind, we found the sea horse wrapped around the base of one! There are a couple of big size morays that are very active early in the morning and afternoon, then the usual suspects on the reef! For some really good of the beaten path diving, ask for Max van Aalst! He is an instructor and marine biologist with his own Coral restoration Foundation. He is wonderful, kind and really knows the island! Anyway, Curaçao is amazing, underwater, coral estate a beautiful place and The house is the best place you can be to comfortably enjoy it all! There are a couple of doves that are supper friendly, please be nice to them! They seem to just enjoy human company! They will go to sleep in your company! Don’t forget to feed them under the palm tree! Scott has bird food for them ready!

We love to travel and explore new places. We've been travelling the Caribbean, "diving and dining", for 35 years. We've used VRBO all over the Caribbean but were always drawn back to Curacao and Coral Estate. When we walked in the door of this home, we felt it had to be ours! It's truly a one-of-a-kind place!
We love the fusion of Dutch/European/Caribbean culture on Curacao and the fantastic architecture, shopping, music and, of course, the beaches and diving. We enjoy eating local food at the Williwood Toko, curry ketchup on fries at the beach bars or fine dining all over the island. We'd love to share our home with you and know you will relax and have a most memorable vacation at Villa Sirena!
