Great view and breezes

The ocean view was amazing, and the location high on the hill meant that we had wonderful breezes all day. The house had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the pool and beach.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. Might be the nicest beach rental we have ever stayed at. The pool was great, the wifi worked great, the views were amazing and the home was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Return trip to Casa Rietje

We just returned for two weeks here and the cottage and location is perfect for us. We love the single floor layout, it has everything we need, gas grill, pool, outside shower to shower and wash gear daily. We like being out of the city and travel up and down the island everyday going to different dive or snorkel sites. The pool and deck area is great for cooling off in the afternoon and the sunsets provide so much peace and relaxation. The Ingrid and Ivan are your go to people on the island and make check in and check out easy. Marieke is great to work with right from booking to departure. I hope to return soon.

Everything we needed and then some.

The property was perfect for us. It had great indoor and outdoor space, lots of kitchen supplies including spices which really helps when you want to eat in most the of the time. The gas grill was something we used every day and looked for in a property and the outdoor shower was great for rinsing off ourselves as well as the snorkel gear. Everything was clean and in good condition. We felt very comfortable and close to nature with lots of birds and a few iguanas. Plenty of options for sun and shade and the pool was great with a view of the ocean. We spent a lot of lazy afternoons chilling on the deck and in the pool. Both Marieke and Ingrid were fabulous to work with. Everything was very easy and communication was great. Overall a lot of little details, some leftover food containers were available, ice packs, I was able to rent beach chairs that we took everyday as we never stay at one beach very long, the spices, variety of pots and pans for cooking, the ease of bringing our snorkel gear to the side of the deck and washing it in the outdoor shower instead of hauling it through the house all contributed to the five star rating. We simply felt very at home and loved every minute.
