This holiday property while a great space for large groups, has not been checked used or throughly cleaned for some time.
Very happy to be able to have found a place that accommodated for 15 of us. Overall very clean, except for some of the kitchen equipments. Love the design in the house! Enjoyed our stay very much!
The house is big and sleeps lot which suited us, so it’s good if you just need somewhere to sleep. I’ve never in 30 years stated anywhere that check in is 4:00pm and check out is 10am, and requests for an earlier check in were ignored. But luckily I received texts to ensure we kept quiet as soon as we arrived and a reminder the day before to check out by 10am. And then an email the day before to say we could extend our stay. It’s on a busy road, the kitchen crockery is awful and the garden wasn’t dog proof.

Beautiful period furnishings and touches. Lovely gas heater and central heating. Noisy road and railway. Disappointed the extra shower and toilet were outside, under cover way but very cold going out at night. Saucepans/frypans were falling apart and scratched. No gas stove lighter or matches. Can't read which gas jet belongs to which control. Instruction manual for appliances unhelpful. Not enough medium or tall glasses. Fridge crisper very hard to open. Upstairs queen beds noisy to sleep on. Lots of good things - various eating areas and lounge areas. Lots of light through many windows. We did have a good extended family time despite the weather and a blackout!
The overall cleanliness of the property would have been better. The coffee machine had not been cleaned before we arrived so the pod catch was full with stale coffee water growing mould. The oven and the oven racks were covered in grime and overall really dirty. There was also random dirty glasses / shot glasses left in odd spots. Obviously this has been overlooked by the cleaners.Apart from these things it was a great stay. It was easy to check into and easy to find off the main road. It has a great set up for the extended family or for a girls retreat away!
The house was perfect for our large group. Short walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The beds were comfy. The house was warm. Beautiful back garden to enjoy the sunshine. It had everything we needed.
At first impression it had a cozy feel and a great backyard for dogs and family to enjoy. Location is great, in walking distance to Bowral’s centre although across the road from train line which might bother some people. Decor is a little tired, beds squeak lounges are uncomfortable, plates and glasses not matching, no bathroom upstairs. For 2 nights at premium price we felt a little let down giving it was a 80th birthday gift.
The house had good space for our group of 10 with plenty of room for dinner around the main table. The town centre is a 10 min walk and the property has good heating - yes we needed the heater in December! However, the train line is across the road and I did not realise how many trains run through Bowral all night! The road is the main road into Bowral but it does get quieter at night. In saying that, we all enjoyed our stay and were quite comfortable and the kitchen living and back garden are delightful.
Walking distance to town, large house to accomodate a big group, great backyard to enjoy outdoor living, beautiful bath tub, lots of indoor living space, central heating/fireplace is also great.
Only concern was traffic/Train noise and we were charged a merchant fee by stayz when you pay with a debit card which we had not factored into the cost when splitting it up.
Otherwise we had a lovely stay
Lots of different areas within the house to relax, sit or eat. Lovely large sunny backyard. Some traffic and rail noise in the bedrooms. Great heating. Short walk to Bowral shops
This is a very welcoming property, cheerful, clean and cosy. The six bedrooms were ideal for our large family, as well as the large back yard. We survived without wifi and the noise from the traffic and rail line didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed our stay very much.
A fantastic property for our big group of 16. So much space and lots of seating areas. Everything we needed was on hand. Would definitely be staying again if I’m Bowral.
Great place for a family vacation very comfortable and convenient

Good location but needs a good clean
The property, especially the kitchen, was not clean. The fry pan had not been washed, the shelves storing glasses was very dirty. A lot of dust on furniture and dirty mats. Sorry, the cottage has great space and a lovely yard, but needs a spring clean.
Cute yet generous &roomy cottage. Clean & neat. As we were there in winter heating was good. Generous car parking for 4 to 5 cars. Walking distance to shops & restaurants.

Nice place, not so nice location
The property was suitable for the 12 visitors (6 couples). Close to the main shopping area (walking distance), however was on the main road near the Railway line. Lots of vehicle and train movements so a bit noisy at times. The small fridge in the gym room at the rear of the property did not work, and was very dirty (mould on the seals). The fireplace in the main lounge room was working nicely for the first couple of nights, but then kept cutting out in night 3 & 4 of our stay. Kitchen and sitting areas were well presented, as were the bedrooms.

Great place for family gathering !!
Lots of space for our extended family to spend time together, with separate sitting areas, yet still connected to the group. Places to set up a variety of board games, enclosed garden for the children to have an Easter egg hunt & play. BBQ outdoor space well provided for as a space to sit for meals during the day.The kitchen, well equipped and the hub of the family gathering. So close to town for supplies as needed and for walks around the area. Plenty of hot water for our 16 guests. Good shoulder for parking on the opposite side of the road for extra cars. Presents even better than the website showed. No one disappointed with the facility. Thank you !
