About this property
Pure Shores Resort, Lilypond Bure. Adults Only Villa, w/shared pool, BBQ, Beach
The Lilypond Bure has been designed with couples and solo travellers in mind. Spacious 7-metre x 8-metre open plan living and well-appointed with full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and furniture and fittings imported from Australia.
The villas and pool are designed so they are not affected by flooding from King Tides.
Stay in a remote and safe environment, away from crowded resorts.
Private and peaceful, I know you will enjoy my “boutique” accommodation.
The saltwater concrete pool is 1.5m deep, beautifully tiled and a great place to cool off. Alongside is a sun deck where you can top up your tan, or relax under the covered pavilion, sipping a cocktail, wine or beer.
Imagine waking up in the morning to the chorus of birds welcoming in the new day. Enjoy breakfast and freshly brewed coffee on your private secluded deck, with a garden view. Enjoy fresh fruits grown on the property or from the local market growers.
Your villa is only a short stroll to the best sandy beach in Savusavu.
Take a peaceful walk around the landscaped tropical gardens and lilyponds that surround the bures. Bird lovers will delight at some of Fiji's most colourful birds such as the Collared Lory, Fiji Parrotfinch, and the rare Orange Dove that resides in my garden. Then take a stroll along the beautiful soft sandy beach and fossick for shells and sand dollars, or find a shady spot for a picnic.
Evenings can be spent watching the sunsets whilst enjoying a BBQ meal and then falling asleep to the gentle sounds of the ocean.
The freedom to do what you like, when you like and not have to pay for “extras” like snorkelling equipment and kayaks. These items are just part of the inclusions when you stay at Pure Shores Resort.
Your host is a friendly ex-pat Aussie who respects your privacy. As I do all housekeeping, you can be assured of high standards of cleanliness, as expected in Western culture. My property has been CFC Certified by the Fiji Government and are therefore aware and practice all protocols for your health and safety.
I have Fijian and Indian ladies willing to cook meals for you if you so desire.
If you would like to be catered for, we have a local business that has proven to be reliable and inexpensive and can cater for different dietary requirements. Please ask.
I want you to keep coming back and tell your friends and family about Pure Shores, so I will always do my utmost to please my guests.
My property is a legally licensed hotel operator in Fiji. Licence No: 63/2024.
Covid Insurance is no longer mandatory for travel to Fiji however, we recommend you do have some insurance for airline delays, etc that can occur when there are extreme weather events.

About the host
Hosted by Robert & Aly

Originally from Australia, I moved to Fiji with my husband in 2017 to build our small resort and create a life for ourselves here, as we love Fiji and we love the Fijian people.
It is our aim to give back to the community by providing jobs for locals and helping out at local schools.
We also want to engage locals to do the cooking for guests, provide massages, and take guests fishing and on waterfall hikes. They get to keep all the money from these kinds of activities and hopefully give them the confidence they need to explore creating their own business ventures as a result.
It's also a great way to meet the locals and get an insight into how they live.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Sekawa when we saw the amazing beach. Without a doubt, the best beach in Savusavu!
The soft grey/brown sand is perfect for long beach walks. Sekawa Beach is your classical tropical beach, lined with coconut palms and perfect for swimming at low and high tide. On calm days, you can see the turtles come up for air, in between snacking on the seagrass below! Take our single kayaks out for a paddle (free for guest use) and check out the reef and abundant marine life below you.
On either end of the beach is a coral reef, where you can snorkel to your heart's content! We have snorkel gear and flippers (free for guest use) available.
We are blessed with beautiful tropical gardens and abundant fresh fruit growing that we can share with our guests including coconuts, bananas, pineapples and pawpaw.
