This sweet cottage is even better in person! So charming, comfortable, and aesthetically beautiful. And the little community its set in is so quiet and cute; my husband and I enjoyed several refreshing walks while staying! Susie is a fantastic hostess that communicates clearly and responds quickly! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The host really thought of everything & went above & beyond to make the property welcoming & enjoyable! We’d love to come back one day!
One of the best B&B we have stayed in.This was our 56th wedding anniversary and I wanted it to be special. And special it was.The host Suzie Cobb was the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful the whole time we were there. The cottage ,host and surroundings are a 10.We will be back.
Love this little cottage. It is located on the heart of Chappell Hill. We have stayed here many times and this place always feels like home away from home. Cozy and peaceful. House is decorated so cute and VERY CLEAN! The host Mrs Susie is the sweetest and she always makes sure you are well taken care of.
My sister-in-law (who is also my best friend from high school) and I have stayed at Sunshine Cottage twice now, both times for the Round Top Antiques Fair. The cottage is adorable, clean, well appointed, and it is located in a homey kind of neighborhood, right across from a country church. It is walking distance to restaurants and some shops. It has a nice porch in back to sit and enjoy the evening. The hostess is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone who just wants to spend a nice, restful time in a lovely vintage home, perfect for two!
Great little place for two! We will likely use it again next time we are in the area.

We stayed at the cottage while visiting Round Top, TX. It was a great little place to stay the host has thought of everything. We had a little drive every day but round top is very limited to its lodging.
Absolutely amazing experience! Mrs.Susie was a Blessing. I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful and inviting! I hated to leave. Everything was impeccable and beautifully decorated! I can’t wait until I can go back!!
Highly recommend Sunshine Cottage! Susie is a wonderful host, the cottage is just as described. Here you'll find a charming stay in a beautifully decorated and comfortable space. Loved the seasonal decor, personal touches and the Blue Bell ice cream :)
The cottage is beautiful. Decore is lovely. Our time there was peaceful, refreshing, and filled with beauty! Susie provided all the little extras we could’ve wanted. We will definitely stay there again.
Susie was very kind and she has a great quiet guess house here!

About the host
Hosted by Susie Cobb
Growing up a country girl in the blue grass of Kentucky makes Chappell Hill a natural fit for me. I've lived all over Texas most of my adult life, but now I am finally home.
Why they chose this property
My family farm has always stayed in my heart. I knew some day I could find a place that reminded me of home, and I did when I found our main house with this cottage. I loved the floors and the ship lap walls even though my husband could only see the work involved. Now he loves our little farmhouse and cottage. My dream is to share it with others.
What makes this property unique
Chappell Hill is the most quaint little town between Houston and Austin. In less than five minutes you can walk from the cottage to town.
