Magical place

The place is just as described. The views are beautiful! The place is ideal for groups as each person/couple have their own casita. I would stay here a million times more! I would recommend renting a side by side. They make it super easy getting to/from.

Peace and Great Views

Had a great stay at Casa Puesta Del Sol. The property had a great layout and was very comfortable. The hill and distance to get down to the main road was a bit much but the view and overall property was worth it. Since it is so far up the hill it is very quiet and away from all the people in town. The power went out a few times but it wasn't that big of a deal and seems to be normal in the area. Cris, the concierge was great and extremely responsive. Lizzeth, the housekeeper was fantastic as well, especially with preparing breakfast. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a pleasant surprise to fine ourselves at Puesta del Sol for 3 nights after there was some damage to the property we booked! This brand new property is incredible in every way. The pool area has one of the best views in town, and we were there from morning coffee until bedtime. Gorgeous sunsets! The home is very comfortable and separate cottages gave us all some welcome privacy after traveling together for a week. The drive up the hill is challenging at first and a car is necessary, but you get used to it quickly. The Concierge was able to get us a last minute ATV experience with pickup at the house in less than 2 hours. Maid service was efficient and breakfast was delicious. We were so spoiled and sad to leave. Great experience!

Beautiful retreat high in the hills of Tamarindo

The views from the house are amazing. The common area with kitchen and dining room was well appointed with a huge dining room table suitable for the six couples that stayed. The six individual bedrooms with private bathrooms in separate buildings provided a nice amount of privacy for each couple. We had a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but they were handled quickly and effectively. The road up to the house from town is a winding mountain road / trail with areas of gravel, pavers and dirt. We walked it a few times, but in the afternoon heat it is quite the hike. Definitely recommend a car, UTV or gas powered golf cart. The town of Tamarindo has plenty of bars and restaurants with easy access to the beach. It would be nice if they would limit access jewelry/whistle/ceramic peddlers to certain areas. We expected it on the beach, but they also walk through all restaurants and solicit while you are dining. It is a very nice property that was perfect for our group of 12.

Better than imagined!

Everyone was stunned at how clean and beautiful the property was! We had 12 of us ages ranging from 5-70’s and each group loved their individual bungalows. Lizzeth was amazing! Her food was delicious, she was so kind, and made the stay so special and unforgettable. Adriana was responsive and so helpful in the days leading up to as well as during our stay. We did not want to check out. I highly recommend Puesta Del Sol. It has beautiful views, privacy, super close to town and everything you could need, awesome pool with plenty of seating, amazing staff, entertainers dream, perfect for catered dinner, laundry on site. Pura vida!

Breathtaking Views and Excellent Time

You can’t find many better views in Tamarindo than this house and the company is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. The setup is excellent for big families or several couples as you have your own little casitas but also have the main area to hang out in when you want. The hill is very steep but we enjoyed our daily hike in the morning as part of our exercise for the day. We rented some UTV’s to navigate the rest of the time or you could get a truck/SUV if you prefer that. The house itself could be a great gathering to just hang out there with the chef each day or cook your own meals the house is worth the stay. The team at stay in Tamarindo couldn’t have been better, they’re so thorough with every part of the process and were able to assist with any activity that we wanted to do! Excellent time

Spectacular Views

We had the most amazing experience at this property, we had troubles saying goodbye to it at the end of our stay. We all agreed that we have never seen views this beautiful. On top of this, Lisseth the housekeeper/chef kept it sparkly clean, and went above and beyond to make the entire stay stress and hassle free. All of the meals we had with her were incredible. We loved our time here and would love to come back
