The unit is excellent and is well located. The only negatives were having to hire our own linen and so many little things were not provided such as salt and pepper, soaps and even dishwashing liquid.

We really enjoyed staying at The Helm. The apartment was very well equipped and warm and cosy in mid June. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings although it might be different in the summer. Easy access to the beach but we enjoyed looking at the views of the water from the living room. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic views, within walking distance to both Shoal Bay & Nelson bay
We have stayed in this property twice now
The cleaning was ok but the carpets are in need of a good shampoo. The tiles were cleaned but you could see the streaks on them. The brooms, vacuum ect still had hair and dirt on them!
While the property is fairly well maintained and the views from the balcony are wonderful the bed in the main bedroom needs to be replaced, we took a topper to make the bed at least a bit more comfortable, from our experience last year!
The bbq smells and is in need of a good clean! ( I would not cook on it)The washing machine smelt mouldy even after I done a clean of it.
Don’t get me wrong the overall experience is a good one just in need of a bit more though cleaning and the bedding is in need of airing.
It is a lovely space for a holiday ! We will stay again !
Great location, easy to walk into Nelson’s bay and Shoal Bay. Lovely views, the apartment was a great size, there was lots of utensils, crockery etc which is a nice change.
We ordered the linen and it was easy and rgeee was plenty of extra blankets etc

Amazing views, Queen bed very uncomfortable facilities were fine. Could of been a bit cleaner.
Down the stairs and within 30 seconds your in the sea. Very well equipped kitchen and spacious kids room. Adult bedroom tight but hey when you’re sleeping you can’t tell. Excellent balcony to lounge on watching the water. Floor to ceiling glass from and side - quiet and 5 min drive to town centre for all amenities etc - great choice and management team
