The Mansard House is one of three cottages offered by Havens on the Ridge in Pigeon Forge, TN, where you’ll find a far-away feeling complimented by close-to-everything convenience. If you’re vacationing as a small group or have a larger party for whom you would like to secure same-site lodging, please consider visiting our other cottages: The Gathering House (VRBO# 799279) and The Blackburn House (VRBO # 820654).

With 2 queen BRs and 2 full BAs ...reclining sofa/love seat...and a futon sleeper sofa, The Mansard House comfortably accommodates 2-5 guests. One bedroom is on the main floor with HDTV, adjacent full bath, and walk-out access to the backyard patio. The other bedroom is located in a spacious upstairs loft that also includes a futon sleeper and HDTV. The second full bath is off of the downstairs living area which is where the washer & dryer are located.

Interior features include hardwood floors throughout, a fully equipped country kitchen, dining area (seats 6), living area with reclining sofa & love seat, 52" HDTV, Wi-Fi Internet, and an assortment of books/games/movies. Hair dryers, iron, and ironing board are provided as are linens and towels....even utility towels for use with your pet in the event of rain!

Exterior areas for chillin’ & grillin’ include deck, patio, and gas grill. The front deck has table w/chairs, and the shady backyard patio provides outdoor seating. Fencing around the property ensures your pet's safety..

Nice stay in Pigeon Forge

My family and I enjoyed staying at the Mansard House. We brought our two dogs and it was amazing to have the fenced yard for them to run and play in! The location is fantastic for doing things in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Park! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the nice, pet friendly accommodations!!

Lovely property that is pet friendly!

This place was so easy to book and easy to find! When we opened the door it was so clean and fresh smelling! Plenty of room for us and our puppies loved the fenced yard! It was a great experience and we can’t wait to go back!

Great location.

Short ride to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The house was perfect for traveling with dogs. They loved the large fenced in yard. House was clean and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay at Unique Charm

Large rooms with comfortable furnishings. 2 steps up to living room. Stain glasses were beautiful. Everything needed was supplied. Bed was comfortable, but very squeaky. Great communication with manager. Very little traffic on narrow and curvy roads up to house.

Mansard House

Inside the house was very clean and nice. Outside was the worst kept property we have ever stayed. Weeds were grown up, outside furniture needs cleaned, needs new cushions, and pictures need to be updated online.

PERFECTION!

Peaceful, private, felt like home away from home. Our 2 puppies loved all the accessible outdoor space! The deck from the kitchen, the 2 patios off of master bedroom and the huge yard to play in. This cottage will be THE ONLY PLACE we will ever stay when we return to Pigeon Forge. We cannot wait to return. Tim was prompt with his answers and easy and professional to work with. Cottage was even better than the pics! WE LOVED IT! Thank you so much for this wonderful cottage!

Family Vacation

We brought our 3 young children and dog with us on this vacation. Everyone enjoyed the cabin, fenced in yard. The cabin was very nice inside, lots of board games, books, movies for the kids! Tim was very nice and welcoming, he was very informative about the bears in the area (he even had a note posted about what to do regarding the bears.) We had more then enough space to spread out, and have some personal space. Everything was very nicely decorated, the kitchen table and chairs were beautiful! I would highly recommend Tim and his properties to anyone wanting to go to the Smoky mountains!

Very Close to Mountain Mist Farms

Overall very happy with our stay and Tim was a fantastic host. Location was perfect for our needs - close to Mountain Mist Farms Wedding Venue and allowed our fur babies AND yard was fenced, as well as gates strategically positioned to keep them contained and safe. Cabin was nicely appointed for our atay. A few housekeeping items - Gate repair to front porch (spindle was broken); detail cleaning, i.e., cobweb & other debris on window sills, behind furniture & doors; some exterior upkeep of wood trim and replace rotting steps down to one of the fenced areas. These items didn’t affect our stay, but should be addressed.

Cabin was in a beautiful location, quiet, clean and close to Pigeon Forge. Only issue was beds were comfortable, but “noisy”, great value though.

Quiet location but still close to town

The cabin was in a quiet location. Interior is accurately represented in photos. Fenced yard was a nice feature for our dog. Everything was clean and welcoming on our arrival. Communication with host was excellent.

Clean and Peaceful

Quiet,comfortable house. A/C units keep the house nice and cool. The upstairs has separate A/C that keeps it from getting hot. It is about a mile from a Farm Winery and 15 min drive to Kroger grocery store. You need to drive slow on the one lane road that the house is located on. I would plan on getting there before dark especailly if you are not used to garvel narrow roads. The road takes a sharp turn just beffore you get to the house. Having a GPS is a must for getting around smartly. I liked that it had a fenced in yard for our two dogs. We still went outside with them especially at night. There is a motion light on the shed that was very helpful and needed. There is warnings of bears around and you must keep your food and trash in the house. You need to keep the doors locked too. We never saw any bears but we did look out for them. I would stay there again!

Born and raised in Chicago, my education and career path eventually led to opportunities in both Florida and North Carolina. In 2014, the majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains beckoned me to Tennessee where I now live and work as Resident Manager of Havens on the Ridge in Pigeon Forge.

My work ethic has always been on a dedication to rendering quality products and services, and fulfilling customer needs in an uplifting, positive way. With every undertaking and objective, I apply my belief that attention to details is important. Havens on the Ridge reflect and confirm this belief.
Personally, Tim enjoys amateur photography….engages the great outdoors…..and embraces faith-based worship.

Why they chose this property

Eastern Tennessee's beauty, tempo, and sense of community are enjoyable throughout four distinct seasons. Prompted by a lifelong affection for the Great Smoky Mountains, my real estate search led to a unique opportunity for developing an existing property into a mountain retreat for adults desiring tranquil, serene respite on a year-round basis. Havens on the Ridge is ideally located a short distance from nature's towering majesty as well as the entertainment and adventures of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

The property was originally owned by The Blackburn Family whose family tree includes Michael Blackburn who achieved notoriety as the World's Greatest Sharpshooter. It's history sparked a special interest within me, and each day I'm thankful to now call Havens on the Ridge my home.
