The place was perfect. Nice and cozy. Perfect fit for the 9 of us. Our buddy plays piano so it was nice having piano at dinner every night as well. Perfect sledding hill out back as well
This is one half of a duplex / split townhouse. It was the perfect location for our Beaver Creek ski trip, which included a day trip to Glenwood Springs. The youngest in our group was 12.
We came in for a soccer tournament, and the stay couldn't have been nicer. The house was just as advertised, and the views from the patio are fantastic. When we arrived, there were beers in the fridge, and even condiments like butter and ketchup, which we almost never see when we rent a condo.
Our property manager was Alan, and he couldn't have been more helpful. He even worked with me to give us a late checkout since my team made the championship match, which was above and beyond the usual service we get. You won't go wrong staying at this property- we'll go back there for sure every time we stay in Vail.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Vail Getaway
The listing said and was titled, “New Home.” However, the home itself was about 20 years old and had some wear with some dated furnishings. The listing should have been titled as “New Listing.” We also didn’t realize it was a duplex but we did like the spaciousness. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the golf course and it ended up being a good gathering place for grilling and socializing. There also was no air conditioning but we did find fans.

Response from VrboOwner on 23 March 2020
Gary, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
"We are so happy that you enjoyed the spaciousness, view, and accommodations of our home -- and that you found the home and furnishings exactly as represented in the pictures! We're sorry that you may have misunderstood a couple of things about the property, but we're happy that was not the result of any inaccuracies in our listing. Because of your concerns, however, we encourage our future guests to email or call if something is important and you do not find it clearly delineated in our ad. We do have a fabulous place with an amazing view -- thank you for your stay!"
Best, the Evolve Team

Generally good but room description could be clearer
Overall our stay was good as we were one guest down due to injury however had we been our original numbers we may have had some inconveniences. The description mentions the 'loft' as an additional sleeping area however it should be noted that this is more of a landing between the two bedrooms on the upper floor and is not separated from said corridor so there is no privacy for anyone using that area for sleeping. Similarly the den is not separate from the downstairs bedroom and although there is a door on the downstairs bedroom to reach that room you have to pass thru the den giving a lack of privacy to anyone using the den as a sleeping area and restricting the positioning of the beds in the den. I think these constraints should be clearer in the description as it has significant impact especially with a mixed group although I'd guess not such an impact when used for children.Apart from these concerns the accomodation was well provisioned and in a good location and once we worked out the bed arrangements we enjoyed our week stay,
We loved the house and it was perfect for our group. It is a duplex, not a house though. I didn’t see this when I originally booked. When I went back, it’s at the veryyyyy bottom in the fine print. We also had some issues with check in regarding the previous stay and trash. This led us to not have a place to put our trash except next to the bin. The maids also weren’t done by check in. Communication with the guest contact was great regarding this however, we weren’t able to check in till approximately 4:30 and the maid service was still not completed. We agreed to deal with the linens ourselves just to be able to get into the house. There was also still trash found around the unit from the previous stay There were some things that I think should have been disclosed in the listing, like their pipes and water heating system makes loud noises downstairs and sounds as if something is dripping or banging. It’s loud enough to wake you up and keep you from sleeping. Other than that, the house was great, the location was beautiful, it fit everyone nicely. The issues really had nothing to do with the host, more the previous stay and the maid service not being attentive.

Great views but too hot in the summer
Nice house and comfortable with a great view of 3 fairways from the back deck....good entertainment to watch the golfers.
The house has many west facing windows with no trees to block the sun that really heats up the house in warmer temps (75+ degrees) even with all the fans going. The living room has upper west windows with no shades. It was so warm in the house while we were there that we slept in the basement bedroom the whole time we were there - never used the upstairs bedrooms - just too hot with no ceiling fans. Very small shower in the basement bathroom.
This would be a good place to stay with lower temps.
We loved the property, location and everything about our stay. The property owner, Alan, was incredible to communicate with. The only change I would have made is not necessarily choosing this location with smaller children (7, 6, 5 & 4) due to the proximity to the golf course. This property is right on the golf course which is amazing. However, with small children, they wanted to get out, run around and be loud which is not the greatest situation to be in when staying near a tee box. Other than that, I have zero complaints. You will not be sorry for choosing this location!
Property is as advertised, great location, clean.
Great check in process, received information in advance.
Nothing negative to say, will keep on our favorites and rent again if available.
Communication was thorough, helpful and timely. Right on the golf course and plenty of room to hang out - inside and on the deck. THANK YOU!

Great Weekend Retreat
Enjoyed the weekend at the condo. Kitchen had everything you could want. Furniture/ dinning room table perfect for our family of 8. Nice to have one car in the garage. The location is good for accessing Vail and the communities west for reasonable food and shopping. It was fun to watch the golfers tee off by the deck. You can tell the owners really care about the home and that the guests have a good experience.
The only problem was when we checked in it was very hot from being shut up all week in some unusually high temperatures. It took until 10:00 to cool it down, particularly in the queen bedroom that did not have the ventilation the master has. The basement bedrooms were wonderfully cool. Having said all that, the owner had sent an extensive text on how to use the fans and there were 5 of them! The next two nights were more what I would expect. There is a little noise from the stop sign/street in front of the home, which would not be a problem in the winter.

The home is very clean, beautiful view to the golfcourse and mountain. Spacious, about 8 minutes from Vail Village. Amazing.
Alan was a wonderful host, house well equipped with all supplies you need in the kitchen. Home is located on the golf course and has unbelievable views and a gorgeous sunset from the balcony. We brought our 8mo old daughter and did morning walks around the golf course before groups were at the tee in front of our house. Wonderful home for families, definitely would stay again.
Perfect location, sled hill just down the road for the kids. Beautiful view of the golf course and super quiet. Everyone had plenty of room for their own space. Great layout. The owner was top notch....
Stayed here for a week and loved it. Owner was very accommodating and helpful, even checking in on us during our stay. The house and kitchen was well equipped for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed cooking in most meals. The views from the outdoor deck are incredible. We’d recommend!
Great overall rental. As a parent of five small kids I was very over conscience of my children to make sure nothing happened to this residence as there were more "rules" than your average rental. It wS apparent the owners take very good care of their home wich is a nive rhing for a renter but i didnt relax as a parent rhe whole time i was there. The carpet was light and well maintenanced so I was concerned of any accidents from my kids. Also some windows were a safety issue for my kids falling out upstairs but it was so hot it was a necessity to have them open so I couldn't let the kids be upstairs without and adult at all times. Back yard backs to a golf course and the golfers were yelling at my kids to be quiet when they were playing on the deck. Pool Is open to the public community pool you have to drive to get to. For a group of adults I would recommend this location always but parents may want to consider something else. It would be nice if the property manager would open windows if they're expecting guests in the evening. The first night was so uncomfortable it took a long time to cool down. There were two box fans and no ceiling fans so at least one more would have been helpful. Overall we were blessed to use this rental and would use it again if we weren't taking the kids !!
This place was a very nice place to stay for our extended family for a weekend. It could be closer to vail or something like that but it also could cost a grand a night. Everything was very straightforward and easy.

Great Space.
We had a great time. This place easily fit 10 of us for a couple of nights using pull out couches. Close to Vail and Beaver Creek. Love'd it.
