The house was great for our family of 4’s beach vacation. Excellent location, only a short stroll down to the inlet and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. House had probably been vacant for a while before our stay as there were a few cobwebs we walked through on first entering the house. But the house itself was cosy and well appointed. Great lounge room for relaxing and kitchen with every pot, pan and plate you could ever need! We would stay here again.

The house location was great! Enough space for both my family 3 kids and parents.
The home had everything you could need which was great!
Negatives - the bed was awful barely slept through the night. Backyard wasn’t mowed so tricky for the kids to play. Toilet became blocked and was overflowing in the backyard. With a bit of TLC to maintain the works of the home this would be a really great stay!
All in all we still had a great time - had all we could need and more but in future owner should maybe update beds.

Cockroaches and Fleas!
We stayed two nights at the above property and were extremely disappointed by the state of the property. The bedrooms had extremely old stained, smelly and flea infested carpet. There were cobwebs throughout the inside and outside of the house including cockroaches and spiders in several rooms of the house. This accommodation was expensive and certainly not good value for money.

Hi Kate,
We regret that you were disappointed with your stay at DRIFTWOOD ON ANDERSON. It is unfortunate that these issues were not reported to us during your stay so that they could be rectified or compensated for. The property was visited after receipt of your review and no evidence was found of the flea infestation, nor the cockroaches. Though properties are cleaned after every departure, like with every house, there is always the chance that some cobwebs may develop prior to the next booking. The issues you have mentioned have also not been reported to us by guests since your departure. All photos and description provided in the listing are an accurate representation of the property and the price is reflective of this as well as its proximity to both beach and town.
Respectfully,
