You're surprised at the fragrance of the "Tatami".

Great Japanese house

We loved the house. It was comfortable and well equipped. The neighbourhood was lovely and quiet. Shops were very convenient too.

Nice quiet retreat

Very nice home. Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the train starion. Stairs are very steep but the washing machine is a definite plus.

Great traditional house close to USJ.

This is a very traditional Japanese house, small but comfortable with all the amenities. Very close to JR station for access to USJ, and other parts of Osaka. Great communication from the owner and instructions for everything made things very easy. Highly recommend.

Great little house

Nice Traditional Japanese house in a quiet neighborhood. The house had nice tatami rooms. It was novel to sleep on the futon in the tatami bedrooms. Check in went smoothly. We got there early and were able to drop off our bags and then go out to see the town. The directions on how to get there were excellent. Easy from the train station.

Fun and spacious property

We loved this property. We had a lot of room for a place in Japan. The tatami was beautiful and the place was very well-kept. Nice neighborhood, too. The bed mats were even comfy. One should note that the stairs were quite steep. This could be difficult for little kids or older adults or people who have difficulty with stairs. It was great to have a little living room and dining table. We’d stay here again for sure! Thanks for having us!

Place to stay during Universal Studios weekend trip

The house was very small (typical, Japanese home) and quite old, but SUPER clean (my mother-in-law, who is very picky even mentioned how clean it was)! It was a bit tricky to find as we came by cab after having an exhausting trip into Osaka, however, if we had come from the station the owner recommended there was a YouTube! video that would have made things much easier. Nothing really to complain about, as the owner was completely honest on location, space, interior, etc. however, I personally think I'm done sleeping on Tatami Mats with futons and will upgrade for actual hotels going forward (given I'm getting older and we have 2 young kids). Overall, highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a quick train ride to Universal Studios (6 minute walk to the station and then 2 stops)! Thank you again to the Owner who was super nice and gave great directions/details.
