Spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with peek-a-boo ocean views, close to beach

'Ohana' is a Hawaiian term meaning family. This beach home, 'Oceanside Ohana', is definitely 'ohana'. The perfect spot for family and friends to gather and share time together in the fresh ocean air.

Ohana is Comfort
Oceanside Ohana is a comfortable three-level, three bedroom home that sleeps 8.. The 3 bedrooms include 2 master suites and one bunk room/family room. This contemporary home features an open floor plan with 9 foot ceilings in the main living space for a very spacious feel. The home is well-appointed with comfortable furniture in the main room that opens up to a well-equiped kitchen with stainless steel appliances.. The large upstairs bunk/family room features a full-size bunk bed, a comfortable futon sofa, a gas fireplace, wet bar, television and DVD player and a selection of DVD's for kids and adults. The second and third stories offer relaxing balconies with peek-a-boo views of the ocean and on the clearest of days you have visibility to Cape Lookout. The balconies are great place to just hang out and enjoy a cold one or relax and read a book as you take in ocean air, view and sounds of the crashing waves. There is room for a one mid-sized car in the garage, 2 in the driveway, and one more on the street (as space allows). . .

Ohana means Family
Very comfortable for one family but large enough for two. Enjoy time with your family or share it with another. Spend time together playing board games, building one of the many puzzles or just watching a movie on the big flat screens. The backyard patio featuring a fire-pit is a great spot to gather for evening conversation and making smores. Consider Oceanside Ohana for a Moms' Weekend, Guys Getaway, or a special family celebration.

Oceanside Ohana is ia great location to explore all that Tillamook County and the Oregon Coast has to offer. In addition, this home is the perfect base-camp and launching point for the large variety of activities in and around Oceanside.

Spend the day on the beach, at the bay, sight-seeing and then return to Ohana to relax by one of the two gas fireplaces. Create wonderful meals in our well-appointed kitchen or barbeque out on the main floor balcony. Sit out on the deck and watch the blue water and feel your cares melt away. Want to catch a favorite show? We have Dish Network TV for our two flat screen tvs (front room and family room) plus wifi for staying in touch while enjoying your coastal vacation.

Cell service is somewhat spotty for all carriers in Oceanside but if you have wi-fi calling capability you can effectively use the wi-fi available in the house to place and receive calls.

Great house and location for beach access. Awesome collection of games, plenty of kitchen items, and lots of space. Some items like the bumper pool were worn and unusable but other than that it was fantastic!

Beautiful 3-story house with a fully outfitted kitchen (gadgets, spices, nice knives), fast wi-fi, excellent hot water, and roomy bedrooms amidst a location that provides a comfortable home base to enjoy the Oregon coast and parks. Be prepared for stairs, as all the loveliness is stacked high—kids took the upstairs, parents took the ground floor, and we all met in the middle level to cook, eat, and hangout. Fun fact—Jacobsen’s Salt is just down the highway! Be sure to hit Tunnel Beach (bring a flashlight) and go to Tillamook for amazing ice cream!

We enjoyed our stay in this home which was near family we were visiting. It has comfortable furnishings and nice carpeting. We chose to settle in the 3rd floor bedroom where the bathroom had double sinks and walk in shower. It would have been nice to have a dresser in the room so we could unpack our suitcases. Also, all of the bedroom closets need organizing. We had to move items out of the way to hang up our clothes.

Affordable Visit to the Coast

This was a great place to stay! Oceanside is a quieter town which is exactly what we wanted. We were only one minute drive away to beach parking. The place was spacious, clean and wonderful. We especially loved that there were a variety of books for all age ranges.

Great location! Beautiful spacious home.

We recently stayed here with our friends and had the best time. The rental was even more spacious than the photos showed, and it had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We loved sitting out on the balconies watching the sunset over the ocean. The kitchen was also well stocked, so we were able to cook our own meals and save money. The rental had plenty of space for six people, and it was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach vacation.

Home is spacious and beautiful. Kitchen has everything you need and more. The only minor hiccup is there’s no laundry detergent at all. So if you want to do laundry, you need to remember to bring detergent. Otherwise, it’s a great place.We will be coming back yearly.

Relaxing Near the Pacific

The home was exactly what had been described to us when we signed up and when we traveled there. It was clear the home was well cared for and loved. It had the feel of being a place where family gathers and enjoys both the home and the surroundings. Good communication from the home owners about the home and the surroundings. We had never been in that area of Oregon before so we had many places to investigate and enjoy! Weather was perfect! Chilly in the AM. Sunny throughout the day. Nice sunsets.

Great base camp!

We loved our stay here! The full-size bunk beds and futon in the rec room worked great for the kids, while the adults took the double master beds/baths. The location is beautiful and just minutes from the beach - it’s also only 15 minutes to Tillamook/grocery stores and central to lots of great Oregon activities. The house is also well equipped with pretty much everything you could think of. Only drawback was the lack of functional screens on the slider doors - we left them open a lot to cool down the upstairs, so screens would have been nice. But it wasn’t a big concern at all, and we greatly enjoyed our week there.

Such a great place to stay!!

I've been visiting the Oceanside/Cape Lookout area my entire life and this is probably one of the best places we have stayed! The house was very clean, well-stocked, and in a great location. Everything is pretty close on the coast, but it was nice to be in the middle of all of it. It was about 5 mins from Tunnel Beach and only 15 from Tillamook which was fantastic. We visited with some friends this time so the separate master suites were great for two couples. We also loved the game table and kitchenette upstairs, it was a perfect hangout room. The only issues we had: - Some of the bathroom door locks didn't work. - We were told to use the garage but weren't given any way to access it. We should have contacted the host about this, but the driveway was just fine. Overall, we would 100% stay here again. We had a fantastic time and are so thankful for such a great place to stay!!

Mostly Good, Terrible Communication

The house was clean and one of the best stocked houses I've stayed in as far as the kitchen goes. There were plenty of places to sleep and sit. The views were beautiful from the decks. It is extremely well located, a short drive from Netarts, Tillamook and the beach. Though there is no beach access from the house. Now the downside - I asked a question a week prior to arrival, no response. We couldn't get any of the TVs to work and sent an email the second day, no response. Other than checkout instructions, there were no instructions on how to operate anything in the house. The beds were very uncomfortable. If you have back problems (and we do), this is not the house for you. Also be aware that the house has lots of stairs and there's no way to avoid using them. You walk in on the lowest level where there's a bedroom and bathroom. Up one flight is the kitchen/living room, up another level is the rest of the bedrooms, a bathroom and the laundry. Stairs are narrow and pretty steep. It wasn't an issue for us, but you should be aware. Also note that GPS takes you past the house, not to it. All in all the house was a nice, affordable option but the beds alone would keep me from returning if I could something else.

Good trip overall, but there were pros and cons

Overall we had a good trip, but there were definitely pros and cons of this rental. The pros: It was well equipped with lots of kitchen and household stuff. It was spacious and worked great for 3 of us having our own space. 2 master suites. Cute beachy decorations. Close drive to beach, views, and Cape Lookout State Park. Owner was nice about allowing early check in (although it turned out we arrived late anyway). The cons: It was not very clean, especially the kitchen/dining. Crumbs and crackers on the floor. Sticky puddles in the fridge (we cleaned the fridge before using). Food left in the microwave and fridge. Dirty, cobwebby windows and screens. Many of the blinds, screens, and sliders are in poor condition and difficult to use. One of the slider screens just fell off when we opened it. Also, a warning to light sleepers: we couldn't leave windows open at night because the road noise was so loud. (We reported the cleanliness issue, and the owner apologized and gave a small discount off the cleaning fee, which was nice - but the fee was still pretty high given the cleanliness level and checkout procedures that guests have to do, like doing the laundry and taking out trash.) Neutral comments, that didn't really matter to us, but might matter to others: The second floor balcony railing is really wobbly - I would be uncomfortable with children. The top floor balcony has no chairs. The backyard fire pit area wasn't really kept up.

Oceanside Ohana

We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations at Oceanside Ohana. It had a fabulous location for avoiding crowds and was close enough to everything to enjoy the beach, fine dining, hikes and kites at the beach.

Excellent place for a home base to explore OR coast

This was a clean, comfortable and spacious house with all the amenities needed to make us feel at home. The beds were so comfortable, and the house is very close to the beaches.
