Welcome to the Birds Nest at Pecan Grove Estates. This tiny guest house is nestled at the rear of the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Pecan Grove Main House. Elevated in the tree canopy, this guesthouse has a studio bedroom, half bath downstairs, sitting area, bar dinning, and kitchen as well as a full bathroom upstairs. It is within walking distance to the San Antonio river, historic San Jose Missions, grocery, and pharmacy. This space comes with 1 parking space within the gated grounds.

Less than a 1.5 miles from the historic San Jose Missions, the San Antonio river, Biking/Walking trails as well as the vessel drop in point for kayaking down the river. Less than 5 miles to downtown San Antonio. A short drive to Southtown, the Pearl Brewery, and shopping.

Just as cute as it is in the pictures

I loved staying in the Bird's Nest! The space was peaceful, adorable, and immaculately clean. And the location was an easy ten-ish minute drive to the River Walk. The hosts were very communicative and clearly give a lot of love and care to the property. Definitely recommend—was exactly the sweet, simple getaway spot I needed.

Charming

We were a little nervous at first because this little piece of heaven is situated in a not so heavenly area. Gail was great, the nest was as cute as can be, the gardens were relaxing, we felt completely safe and enjoyed our stay INSIDE the gates. Gail’s family has preserved a piece of family history and it is beautiful.

This property was so relaxing. It was just what we needed to get away for a few days. The house was very cute and comfortable. It is away from downtown which we rather enjoyed because it was quiet and peaceful.

Misunderstood

Not from this area and being the first anniversary vacation thought it would be fun to rent a tiny home per se. the area was less desirable the closer we got to it. Felt very unsafe in the area tried to get our money back or a portion but she told me it wasn’t her fault I didn’t research the area better. Doubt I will ever go this route again. Very misleading

Just what I needed!

Super cute, comfortable cottage, on a very secure property. The owners were wonderful and answered all my questions. Perfect place for a solo traveler or a couple! If I ever am back in San Antonio, I'll plan to stay here!
