Sail Away I-WOW Your Beachfront Oasis Remodeled

Sail Away is located on Sapphire Beach with an ocean view. We are located in Building E on the East End which is the preferred side of St. Thomas nestled on Red Bay. Tropical easterly winds cool your seascape retreat as the majestic view of St. John’s island is just beyond the horizon. If you are traveling with a larger group and need more room, I can get in touch with the owners next door and see if they have availability.

There is little need to leave the tranquility of your room thanks to the many amenities on site. A new King Size Heavenly mattress with new linens, a new sleeper sofa, new bar height patio furniture, a George Foreman Grill and a freshly painted interior make this an exceptional value.

The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated!

The property has 24 hour security and a gated entrance.

Things to Do in St. Thomas

There is a lot to do on the island. Sapphire Beach is rated one of the top beaches in the Caribbean and is excellent for snorkeling. Brilliant coral, tropical fish, soft sand and plenty of shade are at your footsteps.

-Beaches we recommend: Sapphire Beach, Lindquist Beach, Magen’s Bay, Coki Beach, Secret Harbor Beach, Turtle Cove, Hull Bay, Trunk Bay, Moho Beach, Cinnamon Bay, The Baths-Virgin Gorda, White Bay-Jost Van Dyke.
-Zip Line.
-Scuba diving. Shore diving at Coke Beach is excellent.
-Ferry to St. John at Red Hook(2 minute drive). Passenger and cars.
-Water Island Excursion from Crowne Bay in Charlotte Amalie. Complimentary shuttle service is available when you arrive on Water Island.
-Sapphire Marina offers many charters for island hopping, world class offshore fishing, fly fishing, jet skis, sunset cruises and other fun stuff.
-Sapphire Beach Bar is just a stones-throw-away and have excellent food and live entertainment.
-An Infinity pool just outside your door.
-World-class shopping at the Charlotte Amalie waterfront.

Shopping Close By

The little seaside hub of Red Hook is a 2 minute drive where you will have access to many amenities. Grocery store, pharmacy, full service marina, gas station and many restaurants just to name a few.

The TuTu shopping district is about 6 miles away and has a Kmart, Walgreens, fast food chains and a movie theater.

Our stay at sail away was fantastic for me and my wife. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Balcony beach view is incredible. The beach chairs and cooler were nice touch for popping around different islands on the island. Sapphire beach snorkeling was fun and the food/drink at the beach was good. The grounds around the property could use an overhaul, but that didn't take away from the beach experience. Restaurants/bars in Red Hook were fun. Highly recommend walking over to Pangea restaurant for a nice dinner. Before walking, get the code to the gate, otherwise you'll have to drive or risk walking on the street. The host was extremely responsive and helpful with all inquires. We had an issue with the A/C that was addressed quickly. Also highly recommend jumping on the ferry to St. Johns. Overall, very satisfied with our trip. It was our first to the island and we'll definitely be back to island hop around.

Wow are the only words to sum this up!

We came to here for the first time ever to elope at pretty klip point. Our room was just amazing with anything you could think of there. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The view I don’t even have the words for. Not to mention the beautiful beach, pool, chairs. I could go on and on. We will be back and when we do we will look for their properties again. I wish I could sum up how helpful they were and how beautiful this room really was. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We will carry these memories for a lifetime!

I had a beautiful view of st john, nice and quiet, watched boats coming and going from harbor. The condo was supplied with extras. Would refer to family and friends and anyone who is interested in the sapphire beach area.

Great condo with a great view

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Both the king-size bed and the sofa bed were comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful! It's nice to be so close to the water that you can hear the waves. The location is great because you're close to several great beaches and just a three-minute drive to catch the ferry for a day trip to St John. :)

Amazing Stay at Sapphire!

This was truly a dream of a spot to stay at Sapphire Beach. The bed was incredibly comfy and supportive with a room divider to block out sun for me being a light sleeper. The living area was cozy with quality couches to lounge and enjoy a movie at the end of the day while the kitchen had all the amenities needed to make breakfast before heading out for the day. The E building was quiet, towards the pier end of the complex so only a 2 minute walk to all the action but easily escapable to go back to our unit to relax on the terrace. When we return we would 100% choose this unit again!

A wonderful stay!

Sail away was a wonderful getaway! The villa is decorated beautifully! I love the colors... lots of Pier One! The bed was super comfy. The towels were so nice and thick even the beach towels that were provided were awesome! We loved that beach chairs were included and Scott was worth his weight in gold! The kitchen supplies were adequate. The view was breathtaking! It was wonderful to fall alsleep to crashing waves! Tanya and Damos were so easy to work with and responded quickly to all of our questions!

Great location and stay in an updated beachfront condo

Had an amazing trip to Sapphire Beach Condos in St. Thomas. Owners were extremely thorough with check-in details and extra tips for the area. Condo is as advertised and nicely updated. Well, stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and some nice bonus items such as a cooler to use for day trips. Unit is located in building E on the property which is exactly the location we were looking for. You get a beach view, but much more private than the other buildings. Only a short walk to anything else on the property. Property as a whole is slightly older, but very happy to find this updated, well cared for unit in a great location.

Sail Away for a great vacation rental

This property is as right on the water, and the views were amazing. Wake up to a spectacular sunrise with the ocean and mountains from nearby islands in the background. The inside of the studio unit was updated and clean. It was everything my wife and I wanted for a tropical vacation stay. Thank you Tanya and Demos!

Relaxing Island Getaway

We loved Tanya and Demo’s condo and are very happy that we chose to stay there. It was well-appointed with everything we needed, well maintained and very clean. The Sapphire Beach Resort itself was a perfect location for a stay in St Thomas with a lovely beach, multi-level pools and multiple dining options. There was a place for equipment rentals and even a little shop

Sail Away For Sure

Stunning property as described. Wake up to a beautiful ocean view and a cup of coffee on the balcony. Steps from the water and the beach bar - just idyllic. The restaurants on property or walking distance are all excellent - Sudi’s for breakfast, SeaSalt for dinner and the beach bar or the pizza place for in between.The condo is very well appointed and beautiful and the hosts are helpful and responsive. We had a great experience and will be back.
