Spectacular Family Hideaway

Set against the backdrop of one of New South Wales most beautiful National Parks this house is perfect for a truly relaxing holiday. Whether you want a romantic getaway, an idyllic family break close to a beach or a base to explore the great walks and parks nearby there is everything you need. The house has a great indoor/outdoor feel to it and you can t help but feel yourself unwind within moments of arriving.
There are three bedrooms comprising of two master queen bedrooms and a bunk room with two sets of bunks. Perfect for four adults and four children.
There are also two bathrooms, an open plan kitchen lounge area that leads onto a deck and a comfortable outdoor covered seating area.
In the garden there is a BBQ and wood fire pizza oven.
There are kayaks, a paddle board and windsurfer for you to use not forgetting a couple of bikes to get around on.

Great home in Mackerel Beach

We loved our stay in Great Mackerel. The house was perfect for our family with a big flat loan at the back to play and space to relax and enjoy each other company. There were plenty of games for the kids both indoors and outdoors and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Thanks!

Stylish beautifully restored house at Mackerels

Hannah’s place is a beautifully restored sandstone house hidden at the back of Mackerels. The house has everything you could possibly want, we particularly enjoyed the outdoor covered seating where it was lovely to sit and have an end of day drink. The beach is gorgeous and there are some great walks with spectacular scenery. Hannah was very responsive and full of helpful tips.

Girls escape

From the start Hannah was very helpful, replying to queries promptly. She also left us a lovely welcome platter in the fridge which was a treat. The house is lovely and so well equipped. The perfect getaway. We all hope to come back soon.

Another stay in Paradise

As long term Mackeral holiday makers we have been staying at Hannah's property for years, one of best holiday rentals in this fabulous beach community. The contemporary layout is perfect for two families, it has multiple zones to hang out in (which is essential when you have lots of teenagers!) and the property comes with kayaks and paddleboards for hours of fun on the water. Best of all though is Hannah herself. She is a top class host going above and beyond to make her guests stay memorable. Can't wait to come back again.

Great family weekend together

The house was so well designed for a great escape to Great Mackerel with wonderful bush surroundings. It was great to have the two main bedrooms separated wth great deck space and a lovely seating and chatting areas.

Another wonderful stay

We had another relaxing stay at Hannah’s gorgeous property. 2 x families with kids ranged between 5-8 years. The house was incredibly clean and had everything required. Communication with Hannah is always easy and friendly. Mackerel in itself is also a super spot for little kids. Second year in a row we’ve visited and we look forward to coming again soon

Fabulous retreat for families

We've been holidaying at Great Mackeral Beach with friends for the past 5yrs and Hannah's place is the best we've stayed at. The layout is fantastic for two families as the multiple spaces provide plenty of room for everyone and the interior design is classic and elegant. Extra touches such as kayaks and coffee pods made the stay even more enjoyable. And when my son left his headphones behind Hannah went to the trouble of having them posted interstate to us. Fantastic experience in every way. We will most definitely be back for our next stay at Mackeral.

Magical House on Mackerel Beach

Hannah's place was everything we could have asked for. We were in desperate need of a vacation and some family time and her place gave us the space to relax. We loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen and relaxing in the covered patio area. Mackerel Beach is such a special place and we will definitely be back! Hannah was also so helpful and responsive and went above and beyond.
