Black Bear Quarters is a cozy cabin located in Wildwood Forest. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath newly decorated cabin is conveniently located just off the Spur and a few minutes to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and all the attractions. The cabin offers many amenities including 2 gas fireplaces, pool table, video arcade game, and a hot tub on the deck. The cabin has recently been remodeled with all new furniture, flooring, linens and appliances.

The main level of Black Bear Quarters offers an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen area, a bedroom and a bathroom. The living room area includes a gas fireplace, queen-sized sleeper sofa, and 55" tv with blu-ray player. The dining room area has table seating for four people, with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. Also in the dining room you will find a large selection of family games and dvd's for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped with a keurig coffee maker, blender, crock pot, and other comforts of home. Downstairs you will also find a bedroom with a queen-sized bed with a 32" tv and a full bathroom.

Upstairs Black Bear Quarters offers a master bedroom with a king-sized bed with a 40" tv and a gas fireplace, a full bathroom and a game room loft. The game room is a great family area and includes a pool table and video arcade game.

Black Bear Quarters is located in a small resort area of only 12 cabins on a private street. You will be surrounded by lush trees and a wide variety of wildlife. Please don't feed the black bears or raccoons!!

Perfect

This cabin was perfect for our family of four, spacious and had everything we needed. The arcade table didn’t work, but our kids weren’t old enough for it anyway so we didn’t mind. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect - easy drives to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park - we recommend checking out some hikes at the park! For other parents with little ones, we also discovered Wear Farm City Park, a great place for the kids to play!

Great stay

Great area. Easy to get to. Quiet Hot tub and pool table were great. We used both nights of our stay. Didn’t use the board games or cornhole that was available but liked that we had the option. Bed was comfortable. Downstairs shower had great water pressure. Would stay again.

Just what we needed

The property was just just as the pictures depicted. We loved using the hot tub after being in town. The cabin was a nice quiet place compared to the hustle and bustle of town. We actually found ourselves hanging there more often than not. We even got to see a mama bear and her cub right from the game room! I would definitely recommend staying here and we would come back again!

Nice location, a few issues

Location was great, situated between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Overall the house was nice and worked out well for us, unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working and looked a bit dirty anyway, two windows on the main floor do not lock, a couple kitchen drawers were broken, and we couldn’t get the remote to work for the tv/cable in the living room.

Stephen is a biology professor for two community colleges in the New Orleans area and a local real estate agent. Steve owns Black Bear Crafts in the Arts and Crafts Community in Gatlinburg, TN.
