4th of July vacation

The property was absolutely perfect and nice and quiet. The cabin was amazing to stay in. I wish we would have had time for the horse carriage ride but we will do it next time.

Girls Weekend and 60th Birthday

We absolutely loved our weekend at the cabin. It was so roomy and the perfect place to have fun with the girls and invite family for a 60th birthday The cabin is close to the little towns around for shopping and baked goods. We hope to come back to the cabin again and make wonderful memories.

Great Family Space

This is a great place to bring your family. Lots of space and things for kids to do. It is also quiet and private. We had a lovely buggy ride provided by the Amish neighbors. We also got to see their horses every day as they roamed in the pasture. Lots to do in the area with the bike trail close by and some good restaurants.

Beautiful and relaxing!

My husband, his sister, her husband and myself get away once a year. We look for a cozy place to hike, catch up and enjoy small towns. Our time at Amish Cabin was our best yet. The setting is charming, tucked into Amish counrty, and the cabin was a winner! Nicely decorated with wonder gathering space and great sleeping accommodations.

Time in the country

My family and I enjoyed this property very much. This was my second time staying here. Usually kids have their faces in their electronics, but My grandkids were being very creative with different things that they found out on this property and enjoyed it very much, enough that they want to return someday.

Spacious Cabin in a Beautiful Setting

I came with 2 friends for a birthday/retirement celebration. The cabin has lots of room and would be ideal for a family. The decor is charming and there is lovely Amish- made furniture throughout. The evenings got a little chilly so we made good use of the fireplace which made the room very cozy. We even got in some ping-pong. The cabin is surrounded by woods and Amish farms so it is very quiet. We could not have asked for a better place. I would highly recommend this cabin and would not hesitate to come back.

Wonderful Family-Friendly Stay with Fun AmenitiesWe had a great time staying here! The home offers plenty of entertainment options for kids, including a ping pong table and a cozy theater room that kept everyone happy and engaged. One of the standout experiences was the buggy ride—such a fun and memorable adventure! While the home was generally comfortable, we did notice that some areas, like the window sills, could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleaning. We also hiked to the pond, but found it wasn’t quite worth the trek this time of year. The water was green and surrounded by tall grass, making it less inviting than expected.Despite those minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. It’s a great spot for families looking to relax and have fun together!

Cabin is located in beautiful quiet wooded areas, well appointed with Amish furniture. More space than we anticipated! Large kitchen and playroom. May be great for a larger group. Great antique stores nearby, friendly towns and the Niagara cave is a must see. Thanks for the "long weekend away from it all."

Cabin was very nice and a lot bigger than we thought it would be. We would stay here again. It was great to sit outside by the fire pit. Would of been 5 star on cleanliness but alot of dust on ceiling fans and picture frames, easy fix.

Girls Getaway

We had a great time, loved the location, well stocked kitchen, towels, and bedding. Had immediate assistance for a small problem....which was easily resolved. Enjoyed our evenings outside on the covered porch as well as the fire pit. We took advantage of the horse drawn buggy ride ...made available to us by a local Amish family. Very Memorable weekend!

Perfect Location for Trout Fishing

Its is a great cabin, roomy, clean, but most importantly for us ideally located in the heart of some fantastic trout fishing. Many excellent creeks, both in MN and in IA, can be reached in minutes. After the fishing, one can enjoy a peaceful glass of wine and reminisce about the big one that wasn't fooled by your fly.

Peaceful getaway

This is a beautiful property located off the beaten path but within easy driving distance from Lanesboro and Harmony. The cabin is spacious and beautifully decorated. Many amenities are provided including a grill, fire pit and even a ping pong table! The Amish “neighborhood” is delightful and adds to the charm. We are planning on making it a annual trip.
