Pointe Santo D43 Top-Floor Unit, Gulf Views Over Lagoon, Rooftop Sundeck

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Pointe Santo has been welcoming guests since March 2025, however, please expect repair and recovery efforts to still be happening on the property during your stay. Currently a new office is being constructed between buildings B and C. The pickleball/tennis courts, pool and hot tub are open and elevators are working (but cannot be guaranteed).

Located on the West End of Sanibel Island, this tropical beachfront condominium complex is perfect for romance and relaxation or a fun family vacation. D43 is a top-floor unit which features a private rooftop sundeck. With amazing panoramic Gulf views you can relax with a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail while enjoying the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets!

Enjoy preparing meals in the large, open kitchen, fully stocked with everything you'll need. The spacious primary bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom provides a queen and twin bed and is just a few steps away from the guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The owner provides flat screen TV’s in each room. From your 4th floor screened lanai you can enjoy Gulf breezes and views over the tropical lagoon, heated pool, hot tub and pavilion. Enjoy a casual picnic using the gas BBQ grills around the lagoon, strike up a match on either of the 2 dedicated pickleball courts or the tennis court, or try your luck at a shuffleboard game. Then relax on one of the numerous lounge chairs around the pool or the beach.

Pointe Santo has 141 units situated in a U-Shape looking out to the Gulf of Mexico. All buildings provide elevators and wireless internet access throughout the complex.

Sanibel Holiday's units are equipped with the latest Wi-Fi enabled locks offering easy check in and check out with no need to pick up or return keys. Everyone in the family can have access with one simple and, most importantly, secure code.

Beautiful View

We had a great stay despite a water main break that left us without water for over 24 hours. The Condo is nice but could definitely use some updates. I would also suggest some new beach chairs and a beach umbrella. A few updates could make this an excellent choice.

It's a great condo; we were there five years ago. I was a little disappointed to see hardly anything was updated, a lot was missing from the kitchen; basic things you would expect to be there were not there. We'll definitely go back but probably won't return for this condo unless upgrades are made. Our family booked the condo right next to this one and theirs looked 20 years younger.

Early May Stay

Reviewer Comments: The property was in a great location and within a bike ride or walking distance to some restaurants and a store. The complex had a good layout for all the condos to have a view of the water. The floor plan of the condo was really nice. You could lay in the master bed and have a nice view toward the water. The view from the roof deck was awesome. The roof decking was a little run down with some loose boards but nothing that would cause anyone to trip over yet. I wouldn't go up there without shoes though for fear of splinters. The master bed had a thick foam pad placed over the pillow top bed. We had to pull the foam pad up every morning before making the bed because it would work its way down during the night but nothing too bad. The pool was very nice. It was clean and refreshing. We didn't use the hot tub because it was very hot out and the pool was warm enough. The complex property all around was very well maintained. Had a slight hiccup during the reservation process but the owner was quick to respond and followed up with the property management company to get it straightened out right away. I am definitely recommending this place to family and friends.

Great View From Deck Top, Just Don't Get Slivers!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 24th visit to Pointe Santo. This is a nicely appointed Unit. However it does require some additional care. The decking on the roof top is in very poor condition and actually dangerous to walk on if barefooted-watch out for the popped up wood decking and the wood slivers. The main room drapes don't properly close off to the lanai, and the King sized mattress is covered with a very thick foam cover almost unbearable to sleep on. Unit does have a terrific center island in the kitchen area. The main living area TV is a bit small, and a little complicated to operate. Overall a very nice Unit, it simply needs entirely new Rooftop decking and changes to the items I've mentioned above. Also needs chaise lounge chairs up above so you can lay on your tummy if desired.

The furniture on the rooftop balcony needed replaced loungers were unable to be used due to dry rot (but the condo association is renewing the rooftop decking so they will probably get new loungers then). We had everything needed to cook. The dryer vent was broken when we went to use it and we reported that to Sanibel Holiday to be repaired. very short walk to the beach unfortunately redtide was an issue the 2 weeks we were there so we drove to captiva several days. Sanibel Holiday were very friendly and professional and we felt like they really cared about us! Very nice spacious unit.
