This is a large two level apartment with a private entrance located close to everything McCall has to offer. Park on the street and enter through the front door using the keyless entry pad. The open kitchen dining living room is perfect for entertaining. You are a 5 minute walk to town center! The apartment has one bathroom and two spacious bedrooms. The space will comfortably sleep 8 with an additional sofa bed on the main level. There is a smaller one bedroom unit around the back of the building that is also available for rent. Some reviews on this site are from that space before this larger part of the building was listed more recently. The building has a spacious back yard with a table and lawn chairs - a quiet oasis in the center of McCall. Walk to everything - the building is located around the corner from Cafe 634. Enjoy attractions such as restaurants, shops, and the sandy beaches of Payette lake. McCall is the secret Gem of the Gem State.

This little home was very comfortable for our Six day visit to McCall. The location is central to restaurants and activities in McCall. It was a short walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go.
The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Location was great and directions to home made it easy to find. Management was fantastic and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend
I had a wonderful experience at Brandi’s property. It was clean, relaxing, reasonably priced, and the location couldn’t be beat. Brandi was easy to communicate with- even when I had an unexpected family tragedy. Thank you, Brandi! I will come again.
It was really great! There were a few fees (like cleaning) that I just didn't even think about when I booked that made it a bit more expensive than I thought initially...but that was my fault. Totally worth staying there!

Perfect for a couple. We were in McCall for a 3-day wedding weekend from Southern California. Great location. Believe it or not, the Shell station across main road has a very economical full breakfast menu- ate there all 3 mornings!
I would not stay there again nor would I refer a friend. I left early and feel I should receive a refund!!

Unfortunately - I didn't know you left early as you never communicated any issues with me or that you were leaving early. I didn't hear anything from you after you checked in a day late.
It would be helpful feedback to know what specifically you perceived as dirty. The spa bathroom is scrubbed after every guest, fresh clean linens are delivered, carpet is vacuumed, and surfaces are wiped down. I have had positive feedback that the space is sparkling clean. If there was a specific issue perhaps it could have been resolved with communication from you and I would have been happy to consider a refund.
Almost missed my best friends wedding due to last minute communication issues on behalf of owner. Directions online confusing and I’ve stayed in condos and large homes there in McCall previously. Right away, stressed from not being able to check in a little earlier and owner only notifying me 1 hour before usual check in it was “clean and available.” I was traveling from Boise area and wearing jeans and a t shirt without makeup. Formal wedding attire was cocktail dress and high heels at this elegant event.
I finally found the “tiny” one room home (front looked like a business) by contacting a polite business owner. She tried calling the owner due to spotty WiFi. The owner did not answer her cell phone. I arrived at McCall at approximately 1:45 -2:00 pm.
I had to knock on the front door to ask if I was in the right place. The tenant showed me the entrance in the back of an old converted home.
I tried the code several times as well as the tenant at 3 pm (advertised time on VRBO), however neither “tenant” nor I could unlock.
Not worth the stress nor money to ruin a beautiful, elegant Black Hawk River wedding. I managed to arrive 15 minutes late and the processional (bridesmaids and grooms) had already started their progress towards the minister. I caught a sight of the couple later after they said their vows. Embarrassing to arrive so late.

The address is clearly stated in the online reservation confirmation. This house has been reported as easy to find and is located one block off the main drag coming into McCall from Boise and three blocks from the lake.
I never received a call from you with difficulty finding the place; however, the business owner you contacted is a friend and I heard about it from her. It is possible to call directly from the Online confirmation which lists my phone number.
I also did not hear from you when you we’re not able to enter with the keypad. However, I heard from my tenant and checked it right away. It was working fine. My tenant and the business owner you spoke with said you seemed stressed and frazzled which perhaps added to your confusion with the code and the address as I haven’t had a problem in the past. This building has three different entrances - one is a business, one is the full-time tenant, and one is the rental unit. It has a private entrance in the back with clear entrance instructions in my welcome message that includes the code for the door.
I tried my best to accommodate an early check in - getting cleaning done on short notice is difficult. I was able to get you in the unit earlier and It is unfortunate you did not receive that message to help alleviate your time crunch.
In conclusion, thanks for leaving the place clean and I hope you have a more relaxing experience if you choose to use Homeaway again.

Great little getaway!
We loved it! Everything was clean and convenient. Quiet and cozy! The only suggestion would be maybe a little coffee table and the sofa bed IS quite finicky (as noted on the wall). We will definitely come back!
