About the host

Host profile image
The house has belonged to our family since it was built. I am the third owner of the property. My Great, Great Uncle built the property and it was passed to my Grandfather, who then brought up his family, which included my mother in the house. On his death we purchased the property and have only recently allowed others to enjoy the location.

Why they chose this property

Its the only property that sits on the banks of the Huon River, you can literally walk out the door and go to the river bank.

What makes this property unique

Fishing - If you love to fish this is the property to you, the Huon river supports a number of sea run brown trout, so of the biggest you will find in the state.
Cycling - There are a number of cycling opportunities either long or short, mountain or road, depending on your level of experience.
Kayaking - you can kayak either down or up the river depending on your requirements
