Nestled in a forest setting, Holiday House is only 800m from town and 300m from the Barret Weir on the beautiful Margaret River. An ideal location to savour the delights of the shops and eating houses in the town; direct access to bush tracks for walking and cycling, and the river for swimming and canoeing.
A ten minute drive gets to the beach at Prevelly, with its delightful Greek Orthodox chapel, donated in recognition of the role of the Monks of the Preveli Monastery in Crete during WWII. Visit the many wineries and other great local attractions, maybe using the guided tours available from the Tourist Centre.
Pets may be accepted at the owner's discretion.

Downstairs has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, a bathroom/utility room, and a second living area opening onto the generous balcony with outdoor setting and barbecue.

Unfortunately we are unable to meet our guests in person, and have to rely on the report from our cleaning contractor, which in Jenny's case was good. We hope that she will visit Holiday House again in the near future.
Many thanks for visiting Holiday House, and for your positive review. Unfortunately we are unable to meet our guests in person, but really appreciate that you left the house in good order.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and hope you will come again.

House was lovely, spacious comfortable beds. Great location in terms of walk ability around to and around the main strip in Margaret River. It Would have been good to know it was part of a complex of chalets - this information seems to be hidden until you arrive. The kitchen had no cleaning supplies at all. Issue with booking system meant the cleaners were still there when we arrived well after check in time. Neighbour was very rude and made it difficult for us to park in one of our allocated bays. Otherwise great stay we enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed your visit. We hope you'll come again.
Thought the location was great. Enjoyed being amongst the trees upstairs. Good modern kitchen and bathrooms/showers. A bit cold downstairs. Both my wife and I found the main bed to be a little uncomfortable/lacking support.
From the owner - Liz Williams: Originally from Liverpool. I have lived in Australia since 1977. I am now retired, but was a Hospital Social Worker, specialising in Aged Care. In retirement I have leased the property to Kirkland Parton Pty Ltd, and Mr Bruce Murray is the manager. Although he is shown as a new member (2019), he has been assisting me with bookings on Stayz, and then HomeAway since April 2016.
Why they chose this property
Liz bought the Margaret River property as an empty lot in 2004, and built the house in 2007. She had it solely as a holiday home for some years before entering the short term rental market in 2015. She liked the location of the property for its convenience and ambiance.
