We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. Would you believe we intended to install a dishwasher before Christmas but couldn’t get the trades organised. Good news is a dishwasher is scheduled for installation next month.
Have a terrific short week 😄

Such an amazing location and property to let the kids run and play any time of the year! We had such a great time, everything was so easy and accessible, with an amazing helpful host. Thank you!
4 adults & 4 kids spent a wonderful 4 nights at Jamieson River Run playing in the river, exploring the property and enjoying the peace and quiet. The house felt like a home away from home, thoughtfully furnished with lots of little extras and room for everyone to relax. Thank-you Ailia for sharing your fabulous house with us!
Thank you Ailia! We had such a wonderful time- despite the wet weather! The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking. Look forward to visiting in summer to see the change.

Thank you Niny for taking the time to write a review. The place changes with the season and is always different. I hope you are able to visit in another season and enjoy the valley and river in a different way.
This is a superb, brand new, well equipped home in a beautiful location. We stayed (family with two kids 4 and 6 y/o) and had a ball. Easy walk to town, gorgeous area that is fun to explore and easy to get to Mansfield (picturesque 30min drive). Highly recommend.

This property is amazing, the owners keep the property immaculate, even with the cold weather we had a perfect stay with the fire inside keeping us very warm and the fire pit outside, the hosts are great to deal with, the view down to the river is magic, we spent 4 nights and wished we were staying for two weeks, what a perfect spot, we will definitely be back

In the nicest possible way, the photos do not do the beauty of the property justice! House was incredibly clean and comfortable, with beautiful views from all windows and had everything we needed for an easy getaway. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

So so pleased you had a great stay. Thanks for your feedback - we think it’s the vibe of the valley, it can’t be snapped in a photo 😊! Can’t wait to have you back in July.
Lovely, comfortable, warm house. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't at the house.
Great views & listening to the river gushing past was quite tranquil.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. Pumped you had an awesome stay!! See you next time Elle 😉
We enjoyed our stay everything was perfect the location was absolutely beautiful ,it’s only there wasn’t enough toilets paper for the 6ppl stayed for 2 days so we have drive to get ourself that and there wasn’t any tissue in there otherwise anything else was great
Great location and we had a great time, however, the house is looking a little tired. For the price charged we would have liked the home paddock mowed, a decent bbq and the third bedroom to have a decent bed - the futon is not acceptable another double bed is needed.

Many thanks for your feedback Karen, we will take your feedback on board and consider having a gardener be on site when we have guests to maintain the grass rather than waiting for guests to leave. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay regardless.
Kind regards,

Hosted by Ailia Murray
Hi, I’m Ailia! We’ve been sharing our little slice of paradise with guests since 2018.
Jamieson is our home away from home, and when we’re here, you’ll usually find us tending to the property—whether it’s maintenance or trying (often unsuccessfully!) to keep the deer, kangaroos, and rabbits away from our trees.
One of our favorite summer traditions is kayaking to the brewery, and we love hiking the local hills year-round.
We hope you find as much peace and joy here as we do.
Why they chose this property
Living in suburban Melbourne, we wanted our home away from home to be a true escape—somewhere without direct neighbors but still close enough to town for a coffee, a pub meal, or a relaxed lunch.
The biggest drawcard? Our 250 metres of private river frontage. We spend most of summer in the water, whether swimming, kayaking to town, or paddling down to the brewery. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
What makes this property unique
What makes Jamieson River Run special is the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Being just outside town, we wake to the sight of kangaroos on the block, the soothing sound of the river, and a chorus of birdlife. The serenity here is real—you’ll feel it the moment you arrive.
Plus, with activities right on our doorstep, there’s always something to do. We’re within walking distance of local hikes, 4WD tracks, the river for swimming and kayaking, and just a short stroll into town for coffee, a pub meal, or a visit to the gallery. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, Jamieson River Run offers the best of both worlds.
