About this property
Newly Renovated Home in Little 5 Points, Walking Distance to Everything ATL
Charming, newly renovated turn-of-the-(20th) Century home is located in Little 5 Points in historic Inman Park, one of Atlanta's oldest and most walkable in-town neighborhoods. The private second-story, 2 bed/2 bath unit has its own private front entrance with a large front porch, fenced yard, and gated parking for one vehicle. The large, almost floor-to-ceiling windows bring in tons of natural light, making the house bristle fresh. The unit has high-speed internet, an easy-to-use Nest thermostat, and is newly furnished. The master has a king-size bed, dressing room, and private bath with the original clawfoot tub, twin sinks, luxurious 2-person shower with dual shower heads, toilet, and bidet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room includes a super comfy leather sofa with a pull-out bed and a 50” internet-enabled flat-screen TV. The dining room has an expandable table that will seat 6 (an extra leaf is in the dining room closet), and the fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Ask about longer-term discounts!
Location, Location, Location! Inman Park is on the National Register of Historic Places. Quiet tree-lined streets are home to Atlanta’s best examples of residential architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with numerous parks scattered throughout the neighborhood. It is also one of the hottest dining, shopping, and recreation areas. The house is within walking distance of 9 of Atlanta’s 49 Michelin-rated restaurants and just steps from Little 5 Points. L5P is Inman Park’s early 20th-century commercial district known for its quirky stores and laid-back atmosphere that is famous as a melting pot of subcultures. It is one of Atlanta’s most diverse eating and entertainment districts. It is home to its best brew pub, second best burger, newest and most talked about chicken joint, oldest health food store, numerous coffee shops, and a variety of affordable ethnic and American food.
You can rent street bikes or scooters in L5P, or it’s just a ½ mile (.8 km) walk to the Inman Park MARTA rail station. The house is just a few blocks from the Carter Presidential Library and the Beltline, a walking/biking path that provides access to some of Atlanta’s most popular destinations, including Ponce City Market, Old Fourth Ward Park, Piedmont Park, and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It is also within walking distance of literally hundreds of upscale Inman Park eateries on Highland Avenue, in Inman Quarter and Krog Street Market, as well as those in the adjacent Poncey-Highlands, Virginia-Highlands, and Old Fourth Ward Neighborhoods.

About the host
Hosted by Carolyn Kaplan/Jon Sanford

We are a husband and wife team that lives nearby and love the neighborhood. We have lived in intown Atlanta for more than 30 years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Our daughter lives on the first floor. Husband is an architect and home fixer-upper. Wife is a physician and gourmet cook.
Why they chose this property
The pictures are worth a thousand words. It’s a charming two-story turn of the century Victorian that has it all.
