We are excited to share our love for Lake Gaston and this beautiful custom-built home on Poe Creek with you and your family. Imagine everything you ever wanted in a vacation home with breathtaking sunset and main lake views! You and your kids can jump off the top of the boathouse into 10' Deep Water! Get a tan in a chaise lounge on top of the boathouse while monitoring the kids as they play on the water mat or trampoline. Enjoy a cold drink at the bar in the shaded area under the boathouse deck and you won't believe the photos you will be able to take of the breathtaking sunset and the main lake from the top of the boathouse. While you watch the sunset, enjoy appetizers at the many deck top tables. Have a seat around the counter at the deluxe outdoor kitchen while grilling, listening to music and grab a cold drink from the fridge. Meanwhile, guests can gather in the sitting area under the pergola while s'mores are made at the adjacent fire pit. Relax in the hot tub after a fun day on the lake.

The house is located just off the main lake with a gently sloping lot to the water and boathouse. Deep water off of the boathouse. There is easy boat access to Goat Island and the main lake with no bridges or culverts to navigate.

Inside there are upper and lower level family rooms with open floor plans, large flat-screen TVs, a great lower level gathering spot for playing pool, poker or a board game. There are 2 fully equipped kitchens and a dining room. Enjoy a cup of coffee every morning in the 'Starbucks' area with 4 soft, comfortable chairs overlooking the lake! There is a large deck off the upper level with multiple dining tables and a sitting area in the shade.

All the kids or an entire family could get away in the extra large 2nd floor bonus room with 1 TV, 2 couches, full bathroom, and 2 queen beds. 5 of the 6 bedrooms are masters with large, luxurious bathrooms! 4 of the 6 bedrooms are waterfront with sliding glass doors.

Main Level:
Bedroom#1: King, master bath, sitting area with couch and chair, opens to deck, 1 TV.
Bedroom#2: Queen, master bath, opens to deck.

Lower level:
Bedroom#3: Queen, master bath, opens to patio.
Bedroom #4: 2 Queen beds, master bath, opens to patio, 1 TV.
Bedroom #5: 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds), 1 flat screen TV, Xbox One S.

Upper Level:
Bedroom #6: 2 sofas, 2 queen beds, 1 TV, full bathroom.

Outside: 2 Gas grills, large deck off main level with multiple tables and sitting area. Large lower level patio with multiple tables, pergola, outdoor kitchen, hot tub and fire pit.

Boat House: Large upper deck with multiple tables, chairs and chaise lounges. Lower level bar with seating for 10 in the shade, ceiling fans. 2 slips with lifts (1 pontoon, 1 v-hull) and 3rd side slip. 1 jet ski lift.

There are several marinas and restaurants on the lake for gas, good food and boat rentals.

The closest public boat ramp, Summit Boat Ramp, is 5.3 miles from the house on 432 Bluebird Rd Littleton, NC 27850.

The home is conveniently located near Littleton, NC with Piggly Wiggly, Dollar General and a few restaurants. Roanoke Rapids is only 13 miles with Food Lion, restaurants, shopping and medical facilities.

BED LINENS ARE PROVIDED. Bring your own towels (bath and beach), 13 gal trash bags, small trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergents, toiletries, and paper products. Bed info if you want to bring your own sheets: 1 king bed, 6 queen beds, and 4 twin bunk beds.

Damage Deposit: A damage deposit of $500 is required and held by VRBO. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent and is returned within (14) days after departure, provided all rental agreement provisions are met. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED!

WEEKLY SUMMER RENTALS ONLY - Shorter stays are available in the off season.
