Cute but needs better cleaning.

This would be a really cute place but just wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. It seemed they only cleaned what was necessary. Baseboards were dusty, dead bugs on the window sills. Floors in areas had water damaged We also had to call the first night we got there because there were ants. The one shower must leak underneath the floor as this is is one area where the floor has damage. Brown liquid would seep through the floor in one area just outside the bathroom. The washer sounded horrible when used so that wasn’t even good. Kitchen table is not sturdy so we didn’t even eat at it. It is a good location to the beach and other places around the area, so that was good.

Not what I thought

I will start by saying it is close to the beach(about a 10 minute walk w/kids) But house is a bit worn down. We arrived and were greeted with cigarette smell(Probably from previous people) The floors were dirty which was a bummer. My child has Autism and crawls on the floor alot. So right away my husband and I swept and scrubbed the entire floor so that he could go down. Though there was no vacuum for the carpet we had to deep sweep it. The towels we didn't use because they were stained so we went to Walmart to purchase towels. Bummer. The beds sunk in and had small stains in random places. I would recommend if you are staying for a few nights, but not if for a week like my family. Again, it's close to the beach and if you don't mind cleaning up when you get there it's fine. Our biggest problem was getting the smoke smell out after we arrived. We spent most of our time out of the house because it was just not as clean as we would have liked. We paid quite a bit for this rental and after staying I would say overpriced since we had to pretty much purchase things get through the week. If we didn't travel with our kids I'm sure we would have just dealt with it, but if you have babies or kids on floor I wouldn't recommend. We contacted and they responded quickly, but what could they do about it?

Good place to stay but not for the price

Great place for two couples to stay but very expensive for what you get! It was clean but could be cleaner, floors weren’t level in many places in the kitchen, no trash bags like described in the description, wash cloths had hair in them & there weren’t enough, “beach” sign hanging in the bathroom was broke & had letters hanging down, mattresses were uncomfortable but doable.... nice place overall & love that it was just a small walk/drive to the beach! Would recommend to a friend, yes. But definitely too expensive for what you get.

The 2 bedroom was recently renovated nice clean ,really like the updated bathroom .Just walking distance to the beach. Great location !!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage Nice quiet area just a 5 minute walk to the beach .Great location we were just a 5 min drive to barefoot landing . Definitely a Good Deal we will be back.
