Hello and welcome to our lovely, colorful condo, Pelican L-01 !

Our peaceful and inviting nautical condominium is perfect for an amazing bay and beach vacation. With a great location on the surreal Emerald Coast, a 700 foot Lazy River, you are sure to come back year after year. This unit is a ground floor unit/lanai where guests can sun or step outside the gate into the lazy river with a gorgeous bay side backdrop. The waterfall pool, gradual entry pool and two large hot tubs provide a variety of activities for water lovers. The patio/sunning decks in this water area provide both shade and sun for people of all ages. Large lounge chairs, tables & chairs, umbrellas are provided for your leisurely days spent by the lazy river. Grills w/ tables are provided in the green areas behind the lazy river. There is also a walkway for strolling alongside the bay and marina. Free beach service is provided when you go to the ocean. A toddler pool, hot tub, and Destin West's largest pool and exercise facility are the additional amenities found on the beach side. You can easily access the beach side by walking the sky bridge from bay to beach, or you can drive to the round-about in front of Destin West Beach Side, unload your family and beach equipment, park your car in the shaded parking deck and walk from there to the beach.

LOCATION:
Our condominium is centrally located between Destin and Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island. We are five miles from Destin and one mile from Fort Walton Beach. You are in the middle of two of the best vacation cities in America. Not only do you have four miles of undeveloped land on one side (free of mass crowds of people), but on the other side you have access to the Gulfarium, beach side restaurants and shops, fishing, water-sports, and more. Take your pick! Either side has the vacation you have been waiting for.

FEATURES:
Not only is our location perfect and our condominium's sunny, but the view is unforgettable. Imagine an oasis of palm trees with cool, turquoise water running like ribbon (the lazy river) around gorgeous tropical landscaping. Lounge on our large porch and overlook sailboats floating by on the inner coastal waterway while watching the kids float by on the lazy river.

BAYSIDE POOLS:
Close your eyes on our private patio and listen to the waterfall hit the water in the additional heated pool and you will think you are in a tropical paradise.,,,,or enjoy the 5000 sq.foot pool, gym, and super large pool at Destin West across the street. We also have internet access for those of you who need to connect for business. With so many features, how could you pass this up?

We had a great time at this condo. No need to bring your own beach supplies as they had plenty of floaties and beach toys on the back deck. The beach was a really quick walk from the condo just across the bridge. We spent a lot of time in the lazy river as well. We had a blast!

We love the Emerald Coast, the gorgeous white beaches, the lush Florida landscape and sunny weather. The great seafood restaurants, the small "dives" that serve great seafood sandwiches with grits or fries, the signature drinks, the key lime pie, the breezes, sunsets and walks you enjoy with family and friends....these are special memory makers we know you'll treasure.

We've spent 38 years in FL and love living here. Both of our daughters and son-in-law were raised in Pensacola. We're so happy they and our grandchildren call Florida their home. WELCOME to a great place to vacation and to live!!

Why they chose this property

The owners purchased this corner condo which has extra windows and a front balcony off the master bedroom. Because of the two-level patio, the lazy river is right outside the patio gate. The condo community as guests vacation is friendly as people gather to enjoy all the wonderful amenities for every age AND they're surrounded by palm trees, topical landscaping and a gorgeous bay view! Owners decorated it in sunny primary colors with lovely, comfortable furniture, sailboat pictures, and whimsical beach vibe decor yet with classic tastes. The condo is kept extremely clean and updated. The patio has 2 functional levels for outdoor dining and sunning. The bedding and furniture make for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully appointed with stainless appliances, cookware and dishes. The lazy river is right outside the patio gate....or you can take a stroll around the pools and lazy river to enjoy the green, the bay and the marina. You get it all with this condo!The owners of this property are people who believe in helping guests like you have a great vacation! They provide, at no cost to you, free beach service which means each day you have 2 canvas beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily at the beach. They also provide beach towels and a beach wagon for transporting all your beach gear to the pools and/or beaches. This condo is in a convenient location for bay and beach activities.
