Whispering Pines is a beautiful, cozy, RELAXING and luxurious 2 bedroom, log cabin located in Sherwood Forest, a gated resort that boasts the very BEST VIEWS of the Smokies!!! We are very conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. DOLLYWOOD and most major attractions are all a very short drive, less than 10 minutes away. After a wonderful night's sleep in one of our EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE king size beds, begin your day by enjoying a starter complimentary morning coffee brewed either from the Keurig or make an entire pot. Then, watch the sun come up and take in the SPECTACULAR VIEWS of the Smokies. Enjoy the relaxing Hot Tub on the wraparound deck or the indoor Jacuzzi all year through or the resort offers all guests a swimming pool in the warmer months. Whispering Pines has been such a wonderful blessing for our family and we are truly SO GRATEFUL we get to share it!!

For your protection and our property, there is one Video Surveillance camera monitor facing the parking area.

Whispering Pines offers: TWO COMPLETELY PRIVATE king bedrooms with doors that are separate from other living spaces (we do however have a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress located in the den), two fireplaces, each located in the den and master bedroom, a master bedroom Jacuzzi, a hot tub and 3 king wooden rocking chairs with a side table on a large, covered wrap-around deck to enjoy the gorgeous views, a gas grill, a fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite counter-tops, refrigerator w/ice maker, stove/oven, a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, crockpot, blender, toaster, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a loft area with a 5 CD changer stereo, bistro table, board games and pool table, 42” flat screen TV for gaming and flat screen TV's in both the bedroom and 50" flat screen Smart HDTV with a BluRay DVD player in the living room all equipped with a full cable package (top tier movie and sports channels), a DVD library and Free Wifi.

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Great communication with Somya. We had a wonderful week. ONLY complaint, the trees really need to be trimmed because the view of the gorgeous Smoky Mountains is blocked for the most part. The cabin would be perfect if it weren’t for the trees.
We even had visitors.

Cabin was clean and for the most part as described. Does have quite a few things that need repaired but nothing major that impacted our stay. Our only complaint is the listing stating it has great mountain views as it is completely obstructed by trees. If you go to the top level, you can see the mountains but we booked this property specifically for the view on the deck and that was not as shown. Pool area clean. Location great. We saw bears everyday in this area which was pretty cool!

The cabin was very clean, comfy and had beautiful views. The location was perfect for access to the national park and the community was peaceful. We will definitely consider staying again.

Great location with a view

You are literally 15 or 20 (if lots of traffic) minutes from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The view was very nice. Was as advertised and even had a blender. The only thing missing was some dish soap for handwashing things and a firmer bed. It was a good choice for our little family vacation.

Everything was as we expected except for the water pressure in the second floor shower. The water pressure in the lavatory was excellent but the shower’s pressure was quite lacking!View- the upper level view was as stated, but the lower view was blocked with trees.

Wonderful Cabin - Great Location

Spectacular view. Cabin was exactly as described. Cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. Somya was always available for any questions that arose and was very accommodating. We had an excellent time. When we left for the day, we couldn't wait to return to the cabin.

Quiet Cabin, great views

This cabin was just as described on the website. It is almost at the very top of Sherwood Forest, steep drive, but leads to a very secluded, quiet area. The cabin was clean and had all the necessities for our 3 day stay. A couple of things in the cabin need repairs or fixing, but it did not change our stay at the cabin. We enjoyed staying here.

Super cute cabin

Loved our stay at this cabin! We are a family of 4 and had plenty of space. It was really clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We used the hot tub a lot and loved our view. We did have a TV issue but Soumya was quick to respond and work to get our issue fixed. The only critique I would say is that I did try and use the bedroom spa tub a few times, but just wasn’t able to get the water to stay warm long enough to fill it up. I would have been more disappointed about it if we didn’t have the hot tub. Also, having some basic spices/oil on hand in the kitchen would have been nice but otherwise, there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cookware, etc. we had a great stay!

Beautiful Views, Cozy Home, Return Guest

We love returning to homes we know we can expect great quality and feel welcomed. This was our second time visiting and it again did not disappoint. It’s exactly as described in the listing with great views and a cozy atmosphere. Somya had provided everything we could possibly need, with great communication, ease of check in and out and ensuring we had a great stay from the time we arrived until we returned home. The home is equip with everything you need to feel like you are at home. It is clean, cozy, beds are comfy and perfect for a family to enjoy. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood, great for morning walks and in a perfect location to all activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. You won’t be bored! We look forward to returning! Thanks for another great stay!

Great stay

Place was great! Property manager was very responsive. The powers was out in one of the bedrooms and the fireplace pilot was turned off. She immediately had her handyman come and it was the circuit breaker. He also lit the pilot for the fireplace. The only thing the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom would not turn on and the water was not hot enough. I would recommend they check to make sure things are fully functioning before they have their next guest. Overall it was a nice cabin getaway in the mountains

10 year anniversary trip

The cabin itself overall was very clean! Hot tub was also very clean & enjoyable. Only issue was the jetted tub inside, the keys weren’t cleaned properly so we decided not to use. There were some mildew bits that came out once turned on. But we informed the manager of the property right away just so she have her cleaning crew do a better job of cleaning the tub. She responded immediately & was very accommodating & appreciative that we let her know. She was always responded quickly & was wonderful. Location & “neighborhood” of the cabins was private, comfortable & we felt extremely comfortable. Will definitely consider returning with our children in the future!

Amazing Getaway!!

The check in process was easy and Cheryl messaged us right away to make sure we got in okay. There was a very minor issue with the hot tub (cleaning crew forgot to turn it on before arrival to heat the fresh water) and lower level fireplace (pilot light went out). Cheryl was quick to respond and sent a nice gentleman named Billy the very next morning. He re-lit the pilot light and showed us how in case it happened again and apologized for the cleaning crew about the hot tub. These were super minor issues, but Cheryl and Billy were so kind and helpful which speaks to the customer service and hospitality you receive by booking this cabin. The place was very clean, had extremely comfy beds, and nice amenities giving us a relaxing vacation. I do wish a couple complimentary kcups would have been provided for coffee our first morning. Also, the view isn't quite as unobstructed as the photos lead you to believe. You are able to see the cabins all around you from the deck, but the view of the mountains is lovely. Overall, very nice stay and would book again!! Thank you!

Beautiful and private cabin with comfortable beds and clean facilities. Hot tub was sanitary and relaxing on our chilly Tennessee evenings! Kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. Pillows could have been better, or at least had protective covers over them for sanitary reasons. Otherwise, we have zero complaints and will most definitely stay here again and share our positive experience with others.

Overall decent stay. Few issues noted. Both shower faucets were loose behind the shower wall. Pull out couch springs are badly damaged and should be replaced. Deck doors by hot tub ( the blind covers are damaged on top ). Also one huge safety concern was the stair railing. It was about to off it used. Needs to be repaired or replaced ASAP.

Whispering Pines is located in a quiet, resort setting with spectacular views of the Smokies!! You will feel like you are in the middle of the mountains yet we are only 1.3 miles from the Pigeon Forge Strip and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!! We are also ideally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and less than 5 miles from Dollywood. You will enjoy a relaxing hot tub on the deck overlooking Mt. LeConte, extremely comfortable beds with "SOFT" sheets, a pool table, full cable package on all 3 of our flat screen Smart HDTV's, a whirlpool bath in the master bedroom, two fireplaces, a fully stocked kitchen with a keurig coffee maker, a washer/dryer, a swimming pool in the summer months in a safe gated resort in one of the most convenient locations in the Smokies and of course AMAZING VIEWS!!!
