We had a lovely stay at this spacious property with 8 adults and 2 toddlers. There was lots of room for everyone to spread out, especially the toddlers. The location was very convenient to town and the mountain.

Very spacious home that was clean and had many items that were quite handy when cooking away from home. Some minor repairs are needed, but it certainly did not take away from our visit. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Celebrated an 80th birthday. Wonderful that the entire family could stay comfortably at this home. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living space for everyone to spread out. VERY clean. Beautiful views. Great location: quiet, close to town, close to hiking. Hot tub also a plus.Just a few notes:-could use more wine glasses.-could use more blanket options in bedrooms instead of just heavy comforters.-a few too many breakable items in precarious places.-main stereo was first generation iPhone products. Need to update available connections and/or offer blue tooth.

15 of us from around the country came together to celebrate grandma’s 90th birthday. The house was perfect for our different family units. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of dining spaces and a beautiful view. It was quite magical!

This was a great stay that comfortably accommodated a large group of traveling friends. No one central area to all relax in for a large group was the only deterrent. You can see the whole mountain and runs from the jacuzzi and the home is centrally located. It would accommodate multiple families more accordingly. Loved Steamboat! Best!

Family Ski Trip

The house was as advertised. Plenty of room. The extra kitchen was nice. Short distance to ski resort. For the most part, the shuttle provided by Retretia was great. We had one issue on the last day, no one showed up and no one answered in the office. We were stranded... use at your own risk. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for our multiple family gathering. Any issues we had were managed very quickly and the communication with the property managemtn group was great. The house does get a bit warm and the layout is a bit strange. We thought that there was a bit too much furniture for the space and too many decorative pillows. But these are very minor aestetic things. We loved the house, the two kitchens were great and would stay again.

Family Reunion

Plenty of room for everyone. We all loved eating on the deck and admiring the views. Weather was perfect in the 70s. Hot tub was a hit; movies to watch for littles, games to play. Two kitchens came in handy for our large group. Ping pong table got plenty of use. We were in age under 10, 20s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. Something for everyone. Location was great, close to town, falls, grocery, botanical garden, river for fishing and tubing, mini golf, bike path, alpine slide. Walkable neighborhood.

Amazing Property!

The main reason we decided on the Dallas Chalet was due to the amount of bedrooms/beds/bathrooms. But, OMG! The house is beautiful, in a great location, minutes from everything! There are views of the ski runs without being in the middle of all the traffic/people at the ski area. One review I read stated that the house was too cluttered with furniture. This home is able to accommodate many people, there are plenty of places guests can sit and hang out, whether you want some solitude or you want to be with the group. Having the second kitchen was great! The adults were able to hang out there while the kids played games in the main living area. Upstairs bathrooms have heated floors...wonderful for wintertime! There are 2 ovens in the main kitchen which was a blessing as we were there over Thanksgiving week. There was an electric skillet, rice pot, crock pot, 3 big stock pots, plenty of pots and pans, regular and Keurig coffee pots, cooking utensils and silverware, and cups/glasses. The refrigerator is huge, we had plenty of room to store our Thanksgiving leftovers! (2nd fridge in 2nd kitchen) The only recommendation I would make is to provide more food storage/serving containers. We had to purchase several. This is a great property for a big group or family gathering. I am already planning our next stay!

Excellent mountain getaway for large group

This property was exactly what we were looking for! With such a large group of friends wanting to make the trip out to Steamboat, we knew the pickings would be slim to find a place where we could all stay together. But stumbling on this house was such a blessing. Not only was it spacious enough for our whole group to enjoy spending time together, everyone had room to sleep on a comfortable bed. The house truly had everything we needed and more!

Great house!

The house was wonderful and super clean. Plenty of space and great decorations. The kitchen could use a few more utensils and the garage door was a little out of whack and kept going up and down so we had to unplug it and plug it in for use. Overall great property.
