Just 500 metres from the picturesque 1770 foreshore and within easy reach of the marina and boat ramp (1 km), Peters Cottage is perfect for beach days, water sports, fishing, and Great Barrier Reef day trips.

This comfortable, self-contained cottage sleeps up to 5 guests and is ideal for a small family, a couple’s escape, or a relaxed getaway with friends.

Sleeps up to 5 – Two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other with a bunk bed and single bed - Byo Linen - see note below.

Fully-equipped kitchen – Includes microwave and full-sized fridge

Very Peaceful

Loved our stay so much we booked another night so eight nights in total. Beautiful view and very quiet street. Cottage was comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to 1770 headland lookout where there are stunning views of the ocean, river and sunsets. Selection of books and dvds supplied. TV reception a bit hit and miss (hence the dvds) and no internet or phone service in the cottage. Managed to pick up phone service on various parts of the street ... varied, but when you stay somewhere like 1770 its nice to totally cut off from the world. Grabbed some fish and chips at the marina and enjoyed them at the well kept park on the river watching the sunset. Had a lovely relaxing stay.

Peters Cottage Beach House

My husband and I were very comfortable staying at Peter's cottage. We loved the view and cool ocean breezes. It was clean, tidy and very homely. The location was great, close to the lookout and we walked through the national park to 1770. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, basic and clean

Pleasantly surprised with comfort and cleanliness in this basic fisherman’s beach house. Walking distance to the headland. Very quiet and peaceful. We had some rainy weather and were still happy indoors with a few DVD’s provided too! Thanks very much

Good time was had

The place was pleasant, great for youngish family, nice view n a quiet retreat. What they don’t say...... No phone reception from property, Fish cleaning station, good if you only catch 3 whiting.... No outside tap or hose for fish cleaning station or to hose off your boat.... These little but should be told things didn’t stop us from still having a good stay.....

Lovely little cottage

My partner and I just spent 6 nights at Peter's Cottage. It was wonderful and very relaxing, we enjoyed BBQ's soaking up the view on the balcony each night. We will be back!

Amazing Location

This is place to come if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquility of superb ocean views, beautiful sea breezes flowing through the place. Cute as cottage. Fishing, bush walks,and most amazing sunsets and sunrises. Peters cottage was very clean,tidy and comfortable. Highly Recommend. I loved it.

Mein Mann und ich haben zwei sehr schne Wochen im Februar 2019 in Peter`s Cottage verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist (wie auf den Bildern zu sehen) einfach, aber funktionell und ausreichend. Die Aussicht auf`s Meer ist klasse, das Bett sehr bequem und es ist absolut ruhig gelegen. Ideal zum Ausspannen.
