Kangaroo Kabin - Entire cabin, 5mins to the beach, pet friendly.

Kangaroo Kabin is a stand alone, self contained cabin, totally private and sharing no access, space or facilities with the rest of the property.
It is 20M distant from the main residence and has a gated fence separating the cabin. Wildlife visits every day and can be enjoyed from the cabins spacious veranda which catches the morning sun beautifully. Situated on a little used road and surrounded by untouched bush, it's quiet and peaceful. Just minutes from shops, beaches and in a bush setting.
Pets are welcome and are kept safe, secure and comfortable during your stay. Directly attached and accessible to the cabin is a large, shaded outdoor area that is fully fenced, where pets have direct access to you, but are prevented from roaming by the secure enclosure provided.
Agnes Water and the nearby town of 1770 has easy access to The Great Barrier Reef and surf beaches without the crowds, with a relaxed atmosphere and perfect, all year round climate.

The Host was amazing the Kabin was practical and perfect nestled in a private bushland setting we had 2 dogs also and the accommodation catered for this very well with a dedicated yard we were able to go national parks and lady Musgrave knowing they were safe and sound the host Carl even checkiing on them.Was a wonderful trip with unique accommodation for those wanting privacy yet minutes from Agnes townshipWould most def come back

Great stay!

A very pretty and beautiful place to stay! Carl the owner was excellent to deal with and was very helpful and accommodating! Very quiet and tranquil setting! Would definitely recommend this place to stay!

Kangaroo Kabin is excellent

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Waking up to the peace and quiet each day, seeing kangaroos and hearing all the birds was lovely. Only a few minutes drive if anything was needed and the same to get to the beautiful 1770.

Exceeded Expectations

Had a most enjoyable stay at Kangaroo Kabin, and our fur babies also felt most welcomed. Carl was a wonderful host. The cabin was spacious, well equipped, and in a very convenient location. Agnes Water/1770 also didn't disappoint. A wonderful destination.

No value for money

Little kangaroo cabin is a cosy place located in a quiet area. We had a warm welcome and all the communication and instructions were good. The cabin was clean and all the equipment in the kitchen was provided. However the beds were very uncomfortable esp the single beds and it was really hard to sleep in the main bedroom as we couldn't open a window and there was no fan. We all had a terrible sleep both nights.

Thanks for your lovely comments on our kangaroo cabin, so glad you enjoyed the cabin and the area. It’s a shame you were unable to sleep as well as you might, (I must confess having difficulty with that myself in new surroundings). Yours is actually the first review in the two years of being open that mentioned a problem with sleeping and the beds. But as I’ve learned in the 11 years I’ve been hosting, you’re never going to please all of the people all of the time. The air conditioning and ceiling fan in the main area usually takes care of the temperature and ventilation throughout the cabin and the lack of bedroom fans has not been mentioned before. But thanks for your feedback ans it’s always appreciated and again, thanks for staying and safe travels to you all. Cheers Carl.
