This is a Charter Sailboat built in 1985 42 ft Endeavour teak and fiberglass around 14 tons. This sailboat has 2 cabins for two couples and two large salon couches for two singles or 2 children up to six people for day sail are licensed and are allowed. Think of back packing somewhere natural.

We do want you to be relaxed, happy sailors and most definitely be packed light soft bags plus
comfortable. This is why we suggest and yes - Prefer four people since you are at sea.

Remember talk to us as all sailors 12 and under must be approved. USCG regulations will require young children to have a vest on deck at all times.

Please just respond to us here as to how many sailors of all ages will be with you. We like names plus if set up for boys or girls for who sleeps where and if you plan an excursion four guests best as crew must have access to the couches in the salon. Sometimes crew will sleep outside. There is a large queen size mat our guests will enjoy for star gazing.

It might prove to be too crowded for more than four guests. Ask any good questions here.

Your sailboat is not in a marina nor is it connected to land. You are in the middle of the harbor on a mooring that is peaceful without housing on the navy owned land. These are secure anchorages regularity checked by a diver that we we have owned for several years.

Since more customers want to be away from it all this was our perfect opportunity to give adventurous customers who want something different.

Think of it as camping on the water. You can bring one bag of your personal snacks, some food and provisions byob or ask us about helping set something up before you arrive for a small fee.

Pack light with a soft bag or backpack minimal clothing such as small personal items then pack two bathing suits, two or three tops or T-shirts, and a couple of pairs of shorts with something like an exercise outfit meaning, a jacket and light weight long pants were at night you will be surprised it gets cooler when you’re out in the ocean breezes even during the summer.

When you do book we will give you several options to arrange and pay for your water taxi ride to your vessel on your own.

Check in normally around 3 pm check out by or before 11 am. Then we are able to go to boat and clean and prepare your sailboat for you to occupy.

Unless no one is using the boat or we have been able to have boat clean and read - PLEASE - Do not plan take the ride earlier or you may wake up any other guest! Please take a short tour of Key West if you arrive before your 3-5 pm check onto the sailboat then meet up with your water taxi for a fun harbor tour about 15- 20 minutes to your sailboat.

We have a 20 ft Mako to take you to and return you to shore, and will share information about other water taxis that can help you with more frequent trips to explore downtown Key West. REMEMBER get FREE taxi rides for taking travel insurance!

This sailboat has DC power with support of built in generator that can be turned on easily. The solar panels assure that our equipment will keep pumps going.

Ask your crew or us before check in if you want to have a way to prepare food on board.

Please do not use propane gas for cooking ask us first about cooking options. Crew can help you that live out on moorings. Each boat we have will have an inverter. NOTE: bring a phone charger like used in a car.

No Smoking no vaping or other aromatic candles or incense etc down below allowed. If you must smoke during your stay always ask us in the office or ask crew to show you a spot in back of deck. Extra cleaning fees will apply for those allergic to smoke after your stay.

We will also expect that you understand that nothing goes into the toilets paper products or any kind. If you didn’t eat it don’t leave it! You are at sea. Repairs are expensive and have to be arranged and can be a long uncomfortable wait during your vacation as well. This is for your comfort.

No pets please. There is no where at the mooring for animals to take “poddy walk” and relieve themselves. This applies to all animals. You must have animal doctor visits with shot records ip to date and prefer only well trained service animals with documentation if approved in advance with your travel pet urine pads.

Children under the age of 18 or serviceAnimals may cannot be left alone on the vessel. Non refundable pet cleaning fee with advance approval first.

This is a valuable famous boat. Guests after you may be allergic to dander from non shedding dogs or cats even a parrot’s bird feathers squawk !!
