Grevillea offers relaxed, comfortable holiday living with space to spread out indoors and out. The home features three bedrooms, including a king, a queen and two singles. Two of the bedrooms are carpeted and located downstairs, while polished timber floors flow throughout the remainder of the home. Air conditioning in all three bedrooms and both living areas ensures a comfortable stay in every season.

There are two bathrooms, along with a well-equipped laundry that includes a top-loading washing machine and a front-load dryer. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, and mornings are easy with a Nespresso pod coffee machine (BYO pods). For entertainment, the home also features a PlayStation, perfect for relaxed evenings in.

A standout feature of the property is the massive undercover outdoor living area. Completed in December 2022, the beautifully furnished decks are designed for year-round use, with lighting, ceiling fans and even a heater for cooler months. Outdoor meals are a breeze with the Weber gas BBQ, while the large, fully fenced patio and garden area provides a secure space ideal for dogs.
The home is well positioned close to 4WD access to Main Beach and within walking distance of Home Beach (off-leash dog beach), Cylinder Beach (no dogs) and the Stradbroke Hotel.

Spacious, practical and perfectly set up for island living, Grevillea is a great choice for a relaxed Straddie stay with the whole family — dogs included.

House was very beachy, obviously a family home that has enjoyed lots of visitors. The outdoor shower area is wonderful for guests with pets. We felt very comfortable playing board games and each other.Not sure where the national park was.Check out at 9 am is too early when check in is 2 pm.

Amazing house for a weekend getaway!

The house was very big and the owners have really made sure you feel like your at home. So close to the beach and to the shops. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

This house feels so homely and beachy. Great location for home beach, main beach and the pub. Completely decked out with everything you could need. The near new outdoor decks are fantastic with 3 different entertainment dining/lounge areas. This would be a great stay for 2 families as it felt wasted on just 2 of us. Will stay again!

Very comfortable stay

The house is beautiful and in a great location. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils. The beds were very comfortable, however, they were a little bit sandy. The large deck is stunning and we really enjoyed the outdoor heater for dinners outside. The selection of books and board games is very impressive and we spent many hours playing cards on the deck.

We loved the deck and spent most of the weekend under the cool outdoor heater listening to music and playing cards. We loved the array of board games and the fact that we could take our dogs! We like to stay at different houses to find the one that has everything just right for all of us including pet friendly. I think this is the one that has it all, location, pet friendly, facilities and lots of livable space for us, kids and grandparents. A well looked after house. The top level deck was well set up and was lovely using the patio heater so we could enjoy the night time chats and boardgames. I would not change anything, but would recommend staying here and I think we would stay here again.

Comfortable beach house

This house is a good size for large families, is close to beaches, has a well-appointed kitchen, two decks, fenced courtyard, and is pet friendly (but outside only & not accessible at night because of toads). But, the standard of cleaning and maintenance was inadequate ie., lounge suite needed cleaning/re-covering, roller blinds in all rooms were frayed and many were broken (could not be wound up or down), dirty laundry from previous guests was left in the bathroom hamper, there were cockroaches in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom, and the downstairs lounge room had a musty smell. These were all issues that could be resolved with some focussed attention to detail.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a superb holiday home for both a family to use or group of friends. It must be said this is one of THE most wonderfully kitted out kitchens - quality appliances as in every gadget you would need. Quality furnishings, crockery, and ALL of the beds were incredibly comfortable. To be fair, there are 5 different living spaces on offer. You have the incredible cofrtable L shaped couch off the kitchen , and 8 seater table, then outside on the verandah there are 3 separate areas to eat or lounge. Then downstairs you have another tv room/ lounge area with comfortable couches. One week was just not long enough. Definitely will book for a minimum of 2 next time. Superb layout for family and friends. However should you have little kids eg under 6 then note the main bedroom is upstairs and the other 2 bedrooms downstairs. It is safe and security not an issue, more that if your kids are little you might end up running up and down stairs in the night.Our family of five loved staying here. With a teen aged 15, a 12 yr old and 9 year old we all had our own spaces when we needed them and all loved the option of the outdoor shower.The only slight issue was the traffic noise as it is on the corner where cars accelerate to go up the hill as well as perform U- turns... not an issue when doors closed an air conditioning on. however if you are a light sleeper then would need to bring ear plugs.
