Good location to get to UNT and TWU. The hot water was limited, so that was a little disappointing. Also, the bed needed a full comforter. The only thing provided was a blanket, and in the summer I think that would be fine; but it was pretty chilly without a comforter.
Great location in the middle of Denton. The unit was clean and had everything i needed. The only issue is that when anyone walks on the floor if the unit above, the floor sqeeks. I purchased a fan and that really helped. Otherwise it was great.
Everything was great besides the tenant’s above us. Every night of our stay till about 3:30 am they were talking loudly and seemed like heavy walking/stomping being very loud. Only reason 4 stars were given instead of 5. I understand this is out of the hosts control just feel like it should mentioned

I was visiting my granddaughter - a freshman at UNT. I was 6 mins to her dorm and 5-10 mins from everywhere else. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
Overall I just loved this little place. It was within walking distance to the town square and my family’s house. It just needs a few little touches like paper towels, extra hand towel for bath, coffee filters for the coffee pot and a bottle opener for wine, oh and real glasses not plastic cups. I would definitely stay there again.
Feels like a home all ready for you with morning coffee and a stocked little kitchen. Perfect for a couple or one person stay. Very private, nobody bothers you.
Property was perfect for what we needed. The place was very clean. It is very small. Tony was super nice. Would definitely stay there again.

The place is small! But it’s very quiet, well maintained and clean. Perfect for one or two people. And the manager was super helpful and friendly!
The only inconvenience is the temporary… but major… street construction that limits entry to the property.

Not as advertised
So, I have held off on leaving a review on this property. I wonder how it has gotten so many great reviews as it was not what I expected. First, the house had a pretty bad smell, there were a total of two towels, no washcloth, not one item in the kitchen as far as spices, cooking oil, the cabinets had no knobs to open the drawers, which didn't really matter as they were empty. There was one frying pan that was filthy, no cooking utensils, there were 2 forks, two spoons, a paring knife that fell apart, no real glasses, just a few small coffee cups, bugs that came out of the sink, I found 2 spiders in the bed, and after coming back from our family's home, the fridge was not working. We were able to get the host's elderly mom (she was lovely, and I felt awful that she had to come help us) to come over where she found that the outlet had stopped working, which my husband had to pull the fridge away from the wall, and the fire alarm kept beeping, and he had to climb on a chair to take it down.
Please note that we are FAR from needy folks, we used to groom horses and spent plenty of nights sleeping in stalls or horse trailers at horse shows/race tracks. I do understand that the cost was very low, but I am just surprised at the 4-5 star reviews this house got. I am suggesting that the host work on improving some of these things. We traveled from FL and try to carry as little as possible. The house we stayed at in New Mexico had everything we needed as did other places we stayed

Hi Mary,
So sorry you did not have a great experience. We moved your reservation to the green house because of construction at our original property. I’m not sure what smell you may have encountered, but I can assure you I would have addressed it if you would have told me during your stay. As you can tell I was available and we even meet the day of your move-in. Again so sorry to hear that you had some items that may not have been to your liking, but had I been given the chance I would have addressed them promptly. Best regards Tony.
The price was right for this property. It was comfy and clean and freshly painted. I would give 4.5 for cleanliness because there was powder on the kitchen counter that looked like it was from construction. The place had almost everything you need and the refrigerator was brand new. The surrounding area was fine, but not pretty, and it looked out onto other people’s property which was a little messy. We stayed for five nights and would stay here again. All we needed was a nice clean (no bugs) place to sleep and relax a little at night. The decor in this basic, little apartment was cheerful and cozy. I did hear the train whistle the first night, but got used to it and slept soundly after that. Best of all it’s within a short walk to the Denton square where all the restaurants and shops are. For us it was perfect!
This location was perfect for anyone looking to be in walking distance of the square and fry st. Staff is amazing. Apartment was very cozy and relaxing.
I’m a night nurse and Tony was so nice in accommodating me and my crazy schedule. It’s hard to find someone who’ll do this. His place is very cozy and sparkling clean. Thanks again for a lovely stay.
